• Mechanical design engineer with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University • Over 4 years of working experience in 3D modeling and structural analysis using CAD and FEA software programs • Thorough understanding of design and analysis procedures, and proper material selection to ensure safety and optimal functionality of final product • Demonstrated proficiency in using SolidWorks, CATIA and Ansys through various school projects and past internship experiences • My capstone project required me to design a compact device, from a bulkier version, which harnessed nano aqueous ozone generator device components. The device intends to replace commercial detergents in the market with nano aqueous ozonated water to kill microbes • My internship at Albabtain Power and Telecommunication Co. saw me design components such as base flange, poles, and other accessories and assembled these components together, created drawing sheets ready to be used by fabricators, and worked on optimizing the components for optimal performance and cost reduction • At ITW, I used Ansys to compare the performance of a regular steel dowels used in concrete to a waveform shaped joint and conducted a full factorial DoE on the said waveform joint to determine the design with optimal results. I am currently a student and an intern and have worked on multiple projects relating to 3d modeling, such as modeling an engine and making improvements on the design of weed wacker head in order to increase its durability and longevity. I also have worked on a multitude of personal projects to design and 3d print functional items.

The positions that I have held have enabled me to be exposed to a variety of industries and manufacturing methods. I have designed components and assemblies for injection molding, casting, extrusion, stamping, prototype machines (FDM printers) and standard machining. I strive to use the design skills that I have acquired and to learn new techniques that will make me a better engineer. The positions I have held also opened new doors to different aspects of engineering, besides design, that I had no experienced with and have expanded my knowledge of the business, quality control and design assurance.
