Designed and oversaw the machining of an alternative energy project. Education: Manatee Technical Institute, 2 years or 1900 vocational credit hours of Mechanical Drafting and design completed. Currently pursuing mechanical degree with 38 credits towards degree at State College Of Florida. Work Experience: Promedica- (contract) Mechanical Designer Using SolidWorks design machined parts, ECO already existing products in accordance with customers redlines. Reversed engineered parts to incorporated new design features. Cobham- (contract) Mechanical Designer Sustaining documents using SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM vault to recover lost documents. Researching spec sheets for components used in assemblies. Modeling components per spec. sheet; per component. Creating wire lists for cable assemblies. Using Microsoft Excel to create a B.O.M.'s. Participated in writing and incorporating Engineering Change Orders. Control and manage the electronic files for release into the document control system. CAE Healthcare- (contract) Mechanical Drafter Designing fixtures and redlining prints and Tolerancing prints using GD&T for the ECR process of approval. Also completing assembly drawings for the ECR process as well. Working with the design engineers in team effort to complete the drawings in a timely manner (before the deadline).working with manufacturing engineers to ensure the BOM was clear and concise and to manufacturing’s standard. Also using SolidWorks PDM Work group to update to current revs. Machining proto-types to be tested. Familiar with DOD STANDARDS and MIL-Standards. Using GD&T in the design process. Creating assembly drawings with assembly instructions that correspond with the overall design. Berry Plastics- (contract) Mechanical Drafter Designed all secondary operations tooling and delegated to outside vendors and implement design changes to make machines run at optimum efficiency as well to optimize quality control results. Also transferring AUTO CAD files into 3d models using solidworks. Update and revising existing CAD files. Also categorizing flies by part number and design specificity using a excel spreadsheet. Writing maintenance manual procedures for MMC 3 and 4 lining machines. Designing, creating and maintaining SolidWorks drawings, models, and Assemblies.
