I’m a final-year Mechanical Engineering student (Universidad Metropolitana, Caracas; previously at Virginia Tech) with hands-on industry experience in machine design.
At Empresas Polar, one of Venezuela’s largest manufacturers, I reverse-engineered and redesigned an inspection unit for a 25,200 bottles/hour production line, from on-site measurements to 3D models, FEA/CFD validation, and manufacturing drawings. I coordinated fabrication with an external machine shop, and the prototype passed initial line testing.
