Exposure to various National and International codes like ASME, TEMA, ASCE & API.
Technical skills :
➢ Mechanical Strength Calculations of various equipment like Shell & tube heat exchangers, Pressure vessels &
Columns on PV-Elite.
➢ Design and Engineering as per National & International Standards relevant to designed equipment such as
ASME SEC-VIII DIV.I, TEMA, API 660 etc.
➢ Miscellaneous Manual calculations and programming in Microsoft Excel.
➢ Mechanical Design of Fixed Tube-sheet type heat Exchanger’s (AEM, BEM, NEN), U-tube type (AEU, BEU),
Exchanger’s with Longitudinal baffle (AFU-two pass shell), BHU (Double split flow), BGU (Split flow), Kettle
type (AKU, BKU), Floating head type (AES, BES, AET, BET), Stacked Heat Exchangers.
➢ Analysis of Radial Nozzles with or without reinforcement pad, Nozzles with Insert plates, Off-set nozzles,
Self-Reinforcement nozzles with or without Insert plates on Nozzle Pro.
➢ Analysis of Nozzles with stiffeners on Nozzle Pro.
➢ Pipe Shoe and Saddle analysis on Nozzle Pro.
➢ Preparation of tube-sheet layout and baffle cut diagrams.
➢ Support Design and analysis with good Engineering practices.
➢ Nozzle local loads analysis with WRC 107/297.
➢ Basic separators and vessel sizing using ASPEN HYSYS.
➢ Thermal design of Shell and tube Heat Exchangers, Double pipe Heat Exchangers, Hair pin Heat Exchangers
using HTRI.
