I am a qualified engineer, holding a BSc in Mechanical Engineering. I mainly use Autodesk Fusion 360 for CAD projects but I also have experience of using AutoCAD and Inventor. My background covers around 15 years in the automotive industry and includes working in vehicle type approval/homologation, automotive HVAC and thermofluids. I have also studied mechatronics and I have practical experience of construction and design techniques. I enjoy CAD modelling – helping to bring ideas and concepts to reality.

I am a Mechanical Engineering Student from the City of Glasgow College now pursuing a career as CAD technician. I have extensive knowledge of programs such as Inventor and AutoCAD to create 2D and 3D models of parts, assemblies and technical drawings. I am happy to assist in general product design and manufacturing tasks, and I would love to gain experience from a large variety of different projects. I have experience designing a conveyor system and building it in the workshop using the technical drawing I created, with great success. Primarily, I use Autodesk Inventor for 3D Modelling and 2D Drafting of parts for manufacturability and assembly. I have a past experience of producing related calculations through the use of MathCAD for safe design of all parts in operation and a growing knowledge of FEA using Inventor for 3D Component Analysis. Google Colaboratory is used with Python as API. • Distribution-free techniques in NASA Uncertainty Quantification (UQ) Challenge 2014 - Stochastic model updating of NASA UQ challenge 2014 using Bhattacharyya distance and Euclidian distance as a UQ metric in Bayesian updating (modal updating) where TMCMC technique is used. Evaluating the outcomes using the distribution-free method, the beta-mixture model. Demonstrating that the distribution-free approach is superior to the traditional distribution approach, which makes numerous assumptions that cause uncertainties. The entire process of Modal updating is done in MATLAB. • Fabricating natural fibre hybrid composite – To extract the fibre and fabrication of hybrid composites containing varying levels of Sterculia foetida, Kigelia africana fibres and to analyse the mechanical properties of the hybrid composite by tensile test, flexural test, impact strength, dynamic mechanical analysis. • Experimental analysis on impact behaviour of E-glass reinforced fibre with non-Newtonian Fluid - Fabricating the E-glass reinforced with non-Newtonian Fluid. A 2D CAD model was created in CATIA and analysed in ANSYS and compared the results with numerical results. For numerical results, the fabricated sample was kept in a setup and sensors were used for finding accurate deviation.

In my time at BAE SYSTEMS I worked across different sectors including aerospace (both civil and military), naval and renewables. I have knowledge of AUTOCAD, FORAN, CATIA and SolidWorks.
