As an Associate Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (AM IMechE) I am studying towards becoming an Incorporated Engineer in hope of gaining a recognised IEng status. My professional experience has focused on exposure to the design of mechanical components for manual & hydraulically operated valves in the Subsea & Topside Oil & Gas & Flood Defence Industries. Primarily, I use Autodesk Inventor for 3D Modelling and 2D Drafting of parts for manufacturability and assembly. I have a past experience of producing related calculations through the use of MathCAD for safe design of all parts in operation and a growing knowledge of FEA using Inventor for 3D Component Analysis. Other experience includes direct involvement with Sales, Production, Purchasing, Test & Assembly and with client meetings for project reviews and design updates. I aim to further my career by applying Design & Drafting support and sharing my growing knowledge of the products in order to benefit clients. I hope to make a beneficial impact by utilising Design Reviews and providing a solid structural method towards design inputs in order to help the work flow through numerous concurrent projects.

Projects: • Multi-element Mars Constellation Project - Deploying satellite constellations to facilitate communications while placing two robots on Mars at a certain spot. Required information: coverage analysis, specification of orbital parameters, constellation deployment analysis, single impulse momentum manoeuvres, orbit analysis, launch and return window analysis, total deltaV budget calculation, orbital perturbations, eclipse analysis, communication window analysis and launcher selection. MATLAB has been utilized for calculations and analyses. • Analysing the levels of Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) in the year before and after COVID restrictions in Scotland - The task assigned is to analyse the levels of Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) in the year before and after COVID restrictions (2019, 2020 and 2021) in each district of Scotland, to understand how these levels have changed in relation to lockdown restrictions and population density. Google Colaboratory is used with Python as API. • Distribution-free techniques in NASA Uncertainty Quantification (UQ) Challenge 2014 - Stochastic model updating of NASA UQ challenge 2014 using Bhattacharyya distance and Euclidian distance as a UQ metric in Bayesian updating (modal updating) where TMCMC technique is used. Evaluating the outcomes using the distribution-free method, the beta-mixture model. Demonstrating that the distribution-free approach is superior to the traditional distribution approach, which makes numerous assumptions that cause uncertainties. The entire process of Modal updating is done in MATLAB. • Fabricating natural fibre hybrid composite – To extract the fibre and fabrication of hybrid composites containing varying levels of Sterculia foetida, Kigelia africana fibres and to analyse the mechanical properties of the hybrid composite by tensile test, flexural test, impact strength, dynamic mechanical analysis. • Experimental analysis on impact behaviour of E-glass reinforced fibre with non-Newtonian Fluid - Fabricating the E-glass reinforced with non-Newtonian Fluid. A 2D CAD model was created in CATIA and analysed in ANSYS and compared the results with numerical results. For numerical results, the fabricated sample was kept in a setup and sensors were used for finding accurate deviation.
