I’m a hardworking mechanical engineer, passionate about finding efficient solutions to challenging problems. I am currently looking for a junior position as a design engineer where I can use my skills and knowledge of physics and CAD software and continue to learn about the industry. I have plenty of experience with SolidWorks, which I use as my main tool, but can easily adapt to any software. I am a fast learner, quick on my feet and always willing to go the extra mile. My friendly, open attitude was greatly appreciated by my superiors and colleagues in my previous roles. When I’m not on the job, I enjoy hiking, camping and spending time creating custom pc builds.

I regularly design, optimise, and manufacture parts as part of my degree and personal projects, giving me a strong understanding of design-for-manufacture and real-world tolerances. Hi! I'm a postgraduate researcher with almost 10 years experience in CAD design. This is a skill I have applied in my research and with companies assisting with their mechanical needs in generating product prototypes. Through my background in Mechanical Engineering (BEng) I can generate technical drawings and renders. Specific projects I've worked on before with CENSIS (IOT company in Scotland) is developing a fire alarm enclosure with snap fit closure and an anti tamper featured embedded in the casing lid. I've made various electronic casings and mounting bases for equipment. I've also made household items like coffee filter holders and trinket boxes. I love an interesting project and am happy to input on the design if requested. My PhD is in 3D printing so I design with additive manufacturing in mind.
