I am currently doing a PhD at the Centre for Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) of the University of Nottingham. I constantly work with Solidworks MATLAB and printing software to handle CAD files. I have designed many parts and assemblies in Solidworks since 2012 when I started my Bachelos in Mechanical Engineering. I am a passionate Mechanical Engineer with a broad spectrum of interests and professional expertise. You can expect elaborate, well-designed and reliable results when working with me! I have been working as a researcher and teacher at TU Dortmund University for more than six years, so I have a profound knowledge in Finite Element Analysis, material modelling and optimisation as well as professional experience in different types of 3D CAD systems, such as Solidworks, Catia V5, PTC Creo and FreeCAD. During my studies of Mechanical Engineering I took part in the Formula Student / Formula SAE design competition to design, build and drive race cars and have furthermore been working as a CAD designer for progressive die stamp tools using PTC Creo for several years.
