Accomplishments: Certified 2011 SolidWorks Associate Certified 2011 Auto CAD Associate Designed and completed a project for the Skills USA National competition. Designed and oversaw the machining of an alternative energy project. Education: Manatee Technical Institute, 2 years or 1900 vocational credit hours of Mechanical Drafting and design completed. Currently pursuing mechanical degree with 38 credits towards degree at State College Of Florida. Work Experience: Promedica- (contract) Mechanical Designer Using SolidWorks design machined parts, ECO already existing products in accordance with customers redlines. Reversed engineered parts to incorporated new design features. Cobham- (contract) Mechanical Designer Sustaining documents using SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM vault to recover lost documents. Researching spec sheets for components used in assemblies. Modeling components per spec. sheet; per component. Creating wire lists for cable assemblies. Using Microsoft Excel to create a B.O.M.'s. Berry Plastics- (contract) Mechanical Drafter Designed all secondary operations tooling and delegated to outside vendors and implement design changes to make machines run at optimum efficiency as well to optimize quality control results. Also transferring AUTO CAD files into 3d models using solidworks. Update and revising existing CAD files. Also categorizing flies by part number and design specificity using a excel spreadsheet. Writing maintenance manual procedures for MMC 3 and 4 lining machines. Designing, creating and maintaining SolidWorks drawings, models, and Assemblies.
