I am a Mechanical Engineering student at Bogazici University, one of the top notch universities of Turkey, with a current CGPA of 3.28, and I will study Mechanical Engineering M.Sc. at the same university starting from September 2018. My graduation project is about a vibrational energy harvester that is able to tune itself between 10-20 Hz and able to light up an LED. I have actively used Solidworks for 3D printing purposes, especially for my graduation project. I have designed a PLA spacer in order to direct compression forces from top to the bottom, and limit the deformation of the objects on top and bottom. Then I have used ANSYS Static Structural module to analyze static and fatigue behaviour of the system under the compression forces. Furthermore, I have used Eigenvalue Buckling module to make buckling analysis of negative stiffness beams used in my project, and Modal module in order to match the natural frequencies of the resonance modes of piezoelectric buzzer materials used in my project. I have used CATIA in order to design the steering wheel of Electrotype I, which is a Shell Eco Marathon Concept Battery Electric competition car made by the engineering team BuAlert(Bogazici University Alternative Racing Team). By measuring the dimensions of hands of our driver, and considering the visibility issues inside the car, the steering wheel is parametrically designed so that the curvature of rim of the steering wheel changes according to the position of the steering wheel hub. I am very enthusiastic about getting involved in projects and improving myself even further in CAD and CAE.

For more than a decade, I’ve built and validated complex finite element (FE) and AI-driven models across biomedical, defense, industrial, and consumer domains, from human dummy simulations under blast impact to fatigue analysis of home furniture. My work integrates LS-DYNA, Abaqus, HyperMesh, and MATLAB/Python to translate physical behavior into computational insight. Key Expertise: 1. Biomedical & Implant Design • Developed FEA models of hip, shoulder (RTSA), femoral, cranial, mandibular, and dental implants to evaluate stress, fatigue, and bone-implant interactions. • Designed a novel glenoid implant for Reverse Total Shoulder Arthroplasty (RTSA), optimized for aged bone with reduced cortical density. • Conducted FEA of Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA) and Short-Stem Total Arthroplasty (STA) to study stress shielding, load transfer, and implant stability. • Simulated stent deployment and expansion behavior, studying elastic recoil, von Mises stress, and fatigue life under pulsatile pressure. • Designed surgical plates and fixation systems for midline mandibular fractures and femoral neck repairs. • Performed CT-to-CAD reconstruction of anatomical models using 3D Slicer, Materialise 3-Matic, and SolidWorks to create accurate patient-specific implants. 2. Major project Analysed the potential of 100% replacement of recycled mortar-surrounded coarse aggregate (RMSCA) as coarse aggregate and embedment of steel fibre for achieving the highest compressive strength. RMSCA paver showed a 12% increase in compressive strength over conventional NCA blocks. Steel wire mesh reinforcement in RMSCA further increased strength by 38%, making the blocks suitable for non-traffic zones. The research aimed to reduce carbon footprints and provide valuable insights into the potential of using RMSCA in paver block production, which contributes to sustainable construction practices. And determined the size of RMSCA for better strength performance, which yielded promising results. 2. APPLICATION OF DISCRETE WAVELET TRANSFORM AND INNOVATIVE TREND ANALYSIS FOR RAINFALL TREND ANALYSIS IN GREATER CHENNAI CORPORATION, TN, INDIA. The research focused on the importance of understanding the uncertainties of rainfall patterns. And analyzed the effect of climate change-induced rainfall fluctuations on the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) using seasonal and annual rainfall data for over a period of 35 years. The data was extracted from the Center for Hydrometeorology and Remote Sensing (CHRS platform) and bias-corrected with a resolution of 0.040 degree. With the incorporation of the homogeneity test for a uniform and consistent data format, found the monotonically and non-monotonically increasing trend by innovative trend analysis and discrete wavelet transform. INTERNSHIPS: 1. National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli Research Internship - Structural Design Engineer • Directed comprehensive analysis of pre-engineered industrial steel building structure, employing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques. Utilized Abaqus CAE and STAAD Pro for detailed structural modelling and dynamics under diverse loading scenarios. Implemented steel structure design and detail for meticulous analysis. • Investigated design parameters' impact on PEB steel frame performance, emphasizing haunches' role in enhancing structural stability. Contributed to design modifications based on FEA results to enhance overall reliability. • Implemented advanced FEA techniques using Abaqus CAE and STAAD Pro, influencing the optimization approach for PEB steel frame designs. Played a pivotal role in enhancing structural performance through simulation and analysis. • Generated comprehensive reports and presentations detailing FEA findings and design recommendations. Communicated implications and benefits of haunch utilization in PEB steel industrial structures, facilitating informed decision-making. Technologies and skills: Structural design and analysis, pre-engineered steel industrial structures, and finite element analysis. 2. Public Works Department, Thanjavur Structural Design Engineering Trainee • Directed the structural design of Prefabricated Structures, ensuring integrity and stability. Applied expertise in structural engineering principles and collaborated with engineers to meet regulatory standards. • Utilized AutoCAD to create detailed structural drawings, translating architectural concepts into precise technical specifications. Ensured compliance with regulatory standards and engineering best practices. • Provided crucial design insights to integrate aesthetics with regulatory standards. Collaborated with Executive Engineer and Assistant Engineers for large-scale projects, ensuring adherence to engineering and regulatory requirements. • Conducted on-site inspections to oversee the implementation of AutoCAD-generated designs, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
