I am a specialist engineer with over 16 years of international experience in finite element analysis (FEA), CAD modeling, and structural engineering of wind turbine blades, FRP composites, and bolted joints. My career has been dedicated to solving highly complex structural challenges in renewable energy, with a strong track record in both consulting and hands-on engineering for OEMs in Europe, China, and India.
My expertise covers the full cycle of structural development: from design and optimization using FEA, to certification and compliance with international standards, to damage analysis and retrofitting of existing components. I am recognized as an FEA expert, with advanced skills in ANSYS (Workbench, APDL, ACP), RFEM, Abaqus, and Nastran, and I have led the certification of more than 200 wind turbine components and over 50 rotor blades.
Beyond analysis, I am also a developer of proprietary engineering tools that streamline and automate structural calculations. These tools have significantly improved efficiency, accuracy, and reliability in structural evaluation and certification processes for my clients.
Alongside FEA expertise, I bring strong CAD and 3D modeling skills with ANSYS Discovery, ANSYS SpaceClaim, NX, Creo, and CATIA, enabling me to support projects from initial concept models through to advanced simulation and certification documentation.
I hold a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Bremen University of Applied Sciences, Germany) and a Master of Science in Process & Energy Technology (Bremerhaven University, Germany), complemented by postgraduate studies in Wind Energy (Gotland University, Sweden). Fluent in English, German, and Spanish, I work comfortably in multicultural and cross-functional teams, coaching peers and delivering solutions that combine technical rigor with business impact.
