We are a company that provides unique active seating for the educational market. We pride ourselves in providing the most innovative, high quality product to our customer. This product would be a stool that has functionality to "twist" into multiple configurations and heights. This is furniture and would be completely different but the best way I can describe the idea is something like how a Transformer toy does that. In one position, the seat would be a regular stool seat but then you would twist and lock into a configuration that would be a seat with a back rest that is 4-6" high. It would also have the ability to twist and adjust into 2 heights to provide flexibility for student size and age. When in the lower height, the stool would be 14" high and when in the higher position it would be 16" high. The stool seat will be 13" in diameter and will have a slight dome to make it active while sitting on it. Needs to support at least 250 lbs. The end user is a student so safety is critical. The functionality to change the positions also needs to be simple to execute. Open to materials based on design.
Functionality of the mechanics will be the key factor in the success of the design. It needs to be simple to use and safe. It does need to be aesthetically appealing and appropriate for the educational market.

Hi, Thanks for hosting this contest !
Could you tell if it's right taht you want the stool have only 2 inches of adjustability in height ? Is it must be several step in this 2 inches ?
Is the stool could rotate on itself ?
Is the backrest must move to differents height or it just have to be in a height between 4 and 6 inches ?
The domed seat must be quite pronounced or just a little curvy ?

Skateboard Rubber Wheel Stoppers
Looking for help with a redesign for skateboard wheel stoppers. These skateboard wheel stoppers prevent the wheels on the skateboard from rolling when practicing tricks. These are rubber pieces that can be slipped on skateboard wheels to stop them from rolling while learning ollies, kickflips and other skateboarding tricks. Vehicular LED Display Case
I am prototyping a display for a startup that will be mounted on the tops of vehicles. It will eventually be either CNC milled or 3D printed, depending on the material decided on. For this display I am looking for a sleek case design that also meets the specifications below. The display panel itself is 81.75625 cm x 15.24 cm and needs to be able to slide into and out of the case when a side panel is removed. The electronics are mounted on the back of the display panel and require a clearance of 5.08 cm. There needs to be a source of ventilation for the electronics except on the top as it will be outdoors, as well as one usb port and space for the power cable on the bottom of the display case. For the feet, they will be made of magnets with quite a strong pull force that have been dipped in rubber to prevent scratching. This also needs to be accounted for in the design with there being 3 to 4 feet supporting the case. There are other cases for various products that need to be designed/redesigned, so we would like to find somebody to work with through this contest.
