Looking for photorealistic 3D models

in 3D Modeling Design held by stefanl
Contest Ended, Winner(s) have been selected.
Description:
We are looking for photorealistic high-poly 3D models (PBR), that will fit into the "beauty accessories" category and which have a max. size of 30x30cm. Find some inspirations here: pin.it/4NvJoxj.
Objects we desire are for example: perfume bottle, lip gloss, candlestick, but you may also include jewelry, flowers, leaves, hairdryers, eyelash curlers, feminine scissors, slices of fruits, etc...

We honor every submission that perfectly matches our requirements with 50$ (multiple winners)! With zerolens you can make extra money for 3D models that you have already created - without having to fear that they will be pirated (see attachment "zerolens_info").

Please submit only one 3D model at a time - no compositions & no backgrounds.

About us: We are zerolens.com, a startup from Vienna (Austria) and we are building a virtual photo studio as a web app. Check our website to get a better understanding.
Wants:
- only one 3D model for each submission (no compositions!) and do not add any background, text on models, or additional unnecessary elements
- take a close look on our 3D modeling guideline attached
- be aware of the requested photorealism and the fit into the "beauty accessories" category
- we are looking for fbx. files + PBR materials only.
Feel free to submit objects you already got in your personal library - it does not have to be created exclusively for us!
Don't Wants:
- neglecting our guideline criteria
- 3D models that are not photorealistic/low poly count
- showing brands on 3D models (prevent trademark issues)
- copyright fraud
Additional Information
Earn some extra money with your existing models and do not worry about your assets. Your submitted 3D models will ONLY be used within our software, where they will be rendered to a 2D image (users do not have access to model files). We never sell models directly to someone else! Find some more information about what is included in our 3D model license and whatnot in the attachment section ("zerolens_info").

We want 3D objects to create custom content for marketing beauty accessories products. More examples: unbranded make-up tubes for lipsticks, perfume bottles, makeup brushes, hairbrushes, eyeliners, cream bottles.

**We updated the description with simplified details to help our designers better understand this contest. In short, submit individual PBR models as a separate entry that you designed on your own without text on transparent background. For example, if you want to submit 100 PRB models, please make 100 separate entries and not 1 entry with 100 models.

For this design I took the theme "Behind Women's Beauty". The main color character is white which symbolizes the purity of a woman, and covered with a touch of gold that makes it more elegant and luxurious.
And sorry I can only attach files in DWG and STP formats. I will be waiting for your suggestions and feedback, because I am new to this and want to learn more from you.

#28 Comb v1 by ZM Designs
Hello.
This is the first of my entry. When possible please provide feedback on my entry. Once I know I'm on the right track I will begin working on other entries. All of the required files are attached as a ZIP. This includes a handful of renders as well as what I believe to be the most suitable file formats for you. I used lighting to create a reflection off of the plastic to add photorealism, this is difficult however as often a background is often what adds to the photorealism of a render
Best regards

#42 Eyeliner v1 by ZM Designs
Hello Stefan.
Here is my second entry of an eyeliner bottle.
As already mentioned it is difficult to achieve photorealism without a background.
In case what you meant was that you required a plain white background I have in this entry included renders with both a transparent and plain white background. These are all included in the attached ZIP file.
I look forward to your feedback.

Hi everyone,

As the client mentioned, they had very strict and detailed requirements, so they selected only 3 winners (entries , and ). We issued a refund for the other prizes.

However, Cad Crowd will pay $25 bonuses for entries from 10 other participants, even ZeroLens will not be able to use the designs. And we will add bonus points for over 20 designers.

Regards,
Lucian

Dear designers and artists,
thank you all for the innumerous submissions. As we had very strict and detailed requirements in terms of quality and object choice, we will soon announce only a limited number of winners. Good luck!

@ramjanurr: we are definitely checking the models. it is very important that they match our requirements in terms of quality and format. A negative example would be a cad created object simply exported into fbx. We know that this platform represents a cad community, but we also do believe that there are some talented artists/designers out there who are able to model under our requirements.

Greetings, Stefan

It is not looking convincing how the buyer is rating the model. I think he is not checking the models at all. Just rating those watching the thumbnail . You will use the models not the image what you see.

Dear artists,

just a small resumee from my side: thanks for submitting this amount of models - keep going! We like the objects you choose, but in terms of quality and accuracy there have to be major improvements. Please do not forget to take a look at our guideline and in case you have any questions feel free to contact me anytime.

Greetings,

@Thejuss: as long as the model meets our requirements it doesn't matter which program you use. Please submit only one model at once. We don not need compositions, we need single models. Thank you.

We updated the description with simplified details to help our designers better understand this contest. In short, submit individual PBR models as a seperate entry that you designed on your own without text on transparent background. For example, if you want to submit 100 PRB models, please make 100 separate entries and not 1 entry with 100 models.

Does the final rendered model have to be in .fbx format or is it only for the geometry ?

Engineering design: extending foundation pile support
3 different components need to join together to form 1 piece. The combined assembly is a clamp on system, that clamps onto 36" diameter pipe, then when hydraulic pistons are activated the arms extend and lock out to approximately 45deg. I have attached schematics showing in 2d what I am after. Potential for significant future work for winning designer.
Power SPDT Relay implemented with MOSFETS
I am currently using the following relay in a product: http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/te-connectivity-potter-brumfield-relays/RT424024/PB969-ND/1095293 It is a DPDT, non-latching relay rated for 8A switching, and a 24Vdc coil voltage. The problem: The "clicking sound." This is for a home audio application, so we need it to be silent. I am looking for a silent version, using MOSFETS for example, built onto a daughter board (PCB) with the same footprint and pin-out as the relay. Note - I only need SPDT capability (I tie the two poles of the DPDT relay via on the board that the relay is installed onto). One side of the relay coil (pin 1) is always tied to 24V. And the other side is either set to 24V or GND via this chip: http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en?keywords=296-19046-5-ND (which is controlled by a PIC micro) Requirements: - An electrical schematic of the new design - A BOM of all the parts required - Gerbers for the PCB daughter board - Same footprint and pin-out as the RT424024 relay. Note, for this SPDT version, the following pins will be tied together (12 & 22, 11 & 21, 14 & 24). They are already tied together on the PCB that the relay currently is soldered to. - Same 24Vdc "coil voltage" (pin 1 always tied to 24Vdc, and pin 2 is controlled externally to be 24Vdc or GND via the external chip mentioned above). - When the relay is not activated, pins 12 & 22 are connected to pins 11 & 21). When the relay is activated, pins 11 & 21 are connected to pins 14 & 24. - Use high current MOSFETs (the lower the turn on resistance, the better! Should be able to handle > 25 Amps continuously (ideally > 50 Amps continuously). - Must have full protection from ESD / over-voltage on every pin. - There must NOT be 'cross-conduction' of the pins. - Must be very reliable - Must be silent switching - Must be the same footprint and pinout as the relay that it is replacing (Mentioned above). Max. height is > 1 inch (we are only limited by the footprint, not the height). - Layout software can be whatever you want as long as I can get the PCB gerbers to send to my PCB house. - BOM should be in a spreadsheet (excel) - Electrical schematic can be in PDF
Locking Mechanism Design for Consumer Product
We are looking for a locking mechanism for our upcoming product that is simple and minimalistic, yet very robust in how it locks the two pieces together. When locked there will be lateral stresses forcing the pieces to slide apart. We want there to be virtually no chance of the pieces coming apart by accident while locked, and the mechanism must be simple and intuitive. Items that must reamin the same are the length and width of the objects. Enjoy full freedom to change the trapizod shape. Please refer to attached images for some of our previous ideas. These are simplistic, but they are either not aestheticly pleasing or they do not provide a reliable lock while the product is in use. We have uploaded 4 different file types because we wern't sure what your preference would be. Please also take a look at the attached images to see the other mecanisms that we have designed thus far. These are the ones that we like for simplicity and minimalism sake but they are not the most effective or intuitive.
Medical Bin & Cover Re-design
Redesign of our medical storage bins and cover access methods. The overall industrial and mechanical design initiative should explore new methods and ways to reduce lid opening space. (See attached document for full details.)
Angled Keyboard Slide
The design requires a clean simple method with minimized parts and manufacturing costs. Product is low volume, 250 to 500 pieces per year. We are interested in minimizing capital tooling costs. Design challenge is to design a keyboard slide platform that sits at a 32.5 degree angle (see attached documents). Keyboard slide needs to easily lock in upward position when not in use, and needs to easily be released and slide downward when in use. The keyboard slide is on a cart platform, so when the cart is being moved around, if it gets bumped, we do not want the keyboard slide to dislodge and slip into the down position.
