Description:
We are looking for photorealistic high-poly 3D models (PBR), that will fit into the "beauty accessories" category and which have a max. size of 30x30cm. Find some inspirations here: pin.it/4NvJoxj.
Objects we desire are for example: perfume bottle, lip gloss, candlestick, but you may also include jewelry, flowers, leaves, hairdryers, eyelash curlers, feminine scissors, slices of fruits, etc...

We honor every submission that perfectly matches our requirements with 50$ (multiple winners)! With zerolens you can make extra money for 3D models that you have already created - without having to fear that they will be pirated (see attachment "zerolens_info").

Please submit only one 3D model at a time - no compositions & no backgrounds.

About us: We are zerolens.com, a startup from Vienna (Austria) and we are building a virtual photo studio as a web app. Check our website to get a better understanding.
Wants:
- only one 3D model for each submission (no compositions!) and do not add any background, text on models, or additional unnecessary elements
- take a close look on our 3D modeling guideline attached
- be aware of the requested photorealism and the fit into the "beauty accessories" category
- we are looking for fbx. files + PBR materials only.
Feel free to submit objects you already got in your personal library - it does not have to be created exclusively for us!
Don't Wants:
- neglecting our guideline criteria
- 3D models that are not photorealistic/low poly count
- showing brands on 3D models (prevent trademark issues)
- copyright fraud
Additional Information
Earn some extra money with your existing models and do not worry about your assets. Your submitted 3D models will ONLY be used within our software, where they will be rendered to a 2D image (users do not have access to model files). We never sell models directly to someone else! Find some more information about what is included in our 3D model license and whatnot in the attachment section ("zerolens_info").

We want 3D objects to create custom content for marketing beauty accessories products. More examples: unbranded make-up tubes for lipsticks, perfume bottles, makeup brushes, hairbrushes, eyeliners, cream bottles.

**We updated the description with simplified details to help our designers better understand this contest. In short, submit individual PBR models as a separate entry that you designed on your own without text on transparent background. For example, if you want to submit 100 PRB models, please make 100 separate entries and not 1 entry with 100 models.

Hi everyone,

As the client mentioned, they had very strict and detailed requirements, so they selected only 3 winners (entries , and ). We issued a refund for the other prizes.

However, Cad Crowd will pay $25 bonuses for entries from 10 other participants, even ZeroLens will not be able to use the designs. And we will add bonus points for over 20 designers.

Regards,
Lucian

Dear designers and artists,
thank you all for the innumerous submissions. As we had very strict and detailed requirements in terms of quality and object choice, we will soon announce only a limited number of winners. Good luck!

@ramjanurr: we are definitely checking the models. it is very important that they match our requirements in terms of quality and format. A negative example would be a cad created object simply exported into fbx. We know that this platform represents a cad community, but we also do believe that there are some talented artists/designers out there who are able to model under our requirements.

Greetings, Stefan

It is not looking convincing how the buyer is rating the model. I think he is not checking the models at all. Just rating those watching the thumbnail . You will use the models not the image what you see.

Dear artists,

just a small resumee from my side: thanks for submitting this amount of models - keep going! We like the objects you choose, but in terms of quality and accuracy there have to be major improvements. Please do not forget to take a look at our guideline and in case you have any questions feel free to contact me anytime.

Greetings,
Stefan

@Thejuss: as long as the model meets our requirements it doesn't matter which program you use. Please submit only one model at once. We don not need compositions, we need single models. Thank you.

@Thejuss: .fbx format is only required for the geometry.

Does the final rendered model have to be in .fbx format or is it only for the geometry ?

One World Bracelet
We are designing a silicone bracelet that will consist of 14 equal-sized, interconnected sections. 7 of the bracelet sections will hold a small amount of water from each of the world’s 7 seas. The other 7 sections will contain small amounts of soil from the world’s 7 continents. The idea is that wearing a bracelet that contains samples of water and soil from around the world will make people feel more globally connected. The 7 sections that contain soil should be a light shade of brown and the sections that contain water should be a light shade of blue. We are open to each designer’s initial suggestions for specific colors to use and will provide feedback after receiving the initial designs. However, we would like both the brown and blue sections of the bracelet to be opaque (i.e. - non-translucent). Additionally, we would like to see two versions of the bracelet in all initial submissions…one that has the 7 sections of water on one side and the 7 sections of soil on the other side of the bracelet. And in the other version we would like to see alternating sections of soil, water, soil, water, etc. We will eventually have different sizes of the bracelet but for the initial design we can use a “medium” inner-circumference size of 7.5” (19 cm). We are looking to have a 3D CAD rendering for prototyping. We welcome feedback and submissions from designers who can suggest approaches for producing a bracelet like this that will need to have small amounts of water and soil injected into the bracelet sections at some point during or after the initial manufacturing process.
KLEIN 2-Way Radio
This is a small desktop 2-way radio. Instead of having it on your hip, or a big bulky dispatch radio, this is the size of a portable radio in a desktop box.
Removable Helmet Clip.
Redesign helmet clip to be removable/ replaceable without the need for tools or adhesive. The current design, solid model provided, requires adhesive to secure the helmet clip to the devise base enclosure and seal for IP67, (water and dust seal). Looking for an Innovative design to incorporate removable Helmet Clips with the Base Enclosure. Wants: • Clips to be replicable by end-user. • Secure to standard hardhat with visor, attached image • Alternate mounting bracket option in place of the clips to be considered. For example; helmets without visors, armbands, end of poll mounting options. • DFM injection tooling. Manufacturable in a standard injection molding process. • Maintain IP 67 of the device enclosure. No openings in case that would allow water or dust to enter. • Innovative design to incorporate removable Helmet Clips with Base Enclosure.
Angled Keyboard Slide
The design requires a clean simple method with minimized parts and manufacturing costs. Product is low volume, 250 to 500 pieces per year. We are interested in minimizing capital tooling costs. Design challenge is to design a keyboard slide platform that sits at a 32.5 degree angle (see attached documents). Keyboard slide needs to easily lock in upward position when not in use, and needs to easily be released and slide downward when in use. The keyboard slide is on a cart platform, so when the cart is being moved around, if it gets bumped, we do not want the keyboard slide to dislodge and slip into the down position.
Engineering design: extending foundation pile support
3 different components need to join together to form 1 piece. The combined assembly is a clamp on system, that clamps onto 36" diameter pipe, then when hydraulic pistons are activated the arms extend and lock out to approximately 45deg. I have attached schematics showing in 2d what I am after. Potential for significant future work for winning designer.
