- senior production design engineer TTI group · Full-time Nov 2021 – Present 4 yrs 11 mos China Lead mechanical structure development for cordless stick & handheld vacuum cleaners, owning the complete product development cycle from design concept to mass production release. Designed full product mechanical assemblies including outer casing, cyclone separation system, motor housing, battery pack and locking mechanisms. Created 3D models, 2D engineering drawings and detailed BOM. Executed DFM & DFA assessment for plastic injection parts; optimized geometry to eliminate molding defects, reduce tooling cost and simplify assembly. Worked closely with mold maker and injection factory, oversaw tool fabrication, attended mold trials, troubleshooted warpage, shrinkage, sink marks, weld lines and fit & gap issues. Managed prototype testing, tolerance analysis, design iterations and engineering change orders (ECO). Supported pilot run and mass production ramp-up, resolved manufacturing issues on-site to meet yield and quality targets. Software: Creo Parametric / SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Moldflow.
