Mechanical Design Engineer | SolidWorks | Tooling, DFM & Prototype Development
About
I help clients turn complex mechanical problems and early concepts into practical, manufacturable solutions. My work combines engineering judgement with real workshop experience — from concept development and SolidWorks 3D CAD to assemblies, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, prototype-ready documentation, and design-for-manufacturing reviews.
My core areas of expertise include:
Mechanical parts, assemblies, mechanisms, and machine components
Special tools, fixtures, jigs, repair tooling, and workshop equipment
SolidWorks part and assembly modeling
Manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and technical documentation
Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFM/DFA)
Prototype development and practical design optimization
Reverse engineering and redesign of existing mechanical components
Metalworking, machining, repair technology, and service-oriented engineering solutions
I have developed and implemented specialized repair tools and technologies for diesel fuel systems, damaged threads, broken fasteners, glow plugs, and high-pressure Common Rail test equipment. I have also designed machining fixtures, mechanical devices, prototype assemblies, and components for automotive and industrial applications.
My goal is not simply to create a 3D model. I deliver designs that consider how parts will be made, assembled, used, maintained, and improved in the real world.
I work with clear communication, defined deliverables, and a practical engineering approach from the first concept to production-ready documentation. Cad Crowd recommends keeping profiles concise, client-focused, accurate, and consistent with the skills and portfolio shown elsewhere in the account.
