Efficiency and optimization focused CAD Designer with experience creating fully parametric, optimized for manufacturing ready designs and production drawings. With over 7 years experience designing products of different niches, I have become a versatile CAD designer with expertise in multiple sectors including sheet metal, fibre laser cutting, sheet metal bending, CNC milling and CNC turning as well as 3D printed enclosures for outdoor applications. Software that I've worked with: - Autodesk Inventor - Autodesk Inventor CAM Suite - AutoCAD - Autodesk Fusion 360 - Ultimaker Cura - Keyshot Tasks / roles that I can fulfil: - Drafter / Drafting Tasks - Product Design - Sheet metal and bending designer - Reverse Engineer / Reverse Engineering - CAD Design - DFM / Design For Manufacturing - Design for 3D printing - Design for CNC Machining and CNC Turning - Design for Injection Moulding I was involved in: - Creating flat patterns for laser cutting, - Bend drawings for the bending team, - Assembly instructions for the assemblers - Steel tube cut list's for the manufacturing team, - Designing parts and then programming and running them on our CNC milling machine, - Designing optimised parts for 3D printing - Keeping an eye open for design optimisations in general I refined my skills further with my time working hands on with the production process, seeing and deeply understanding the processes involved in building your final product.
