Over the past 17 years, I have worked as an R&D Engineer and Project Manager in the research & development engineering field on multi-disciplinary teams of Electrical Engineers, Testing Engineering, and Tooling and Manufacturing Engineers for sporting goods and outdoor products at Lifetime Products and for Smoker Grills and Culinary Products at Traeger Grills. I have also worked on ASTM Committees for Industry Standards. Throughout my engineering career I have created, managed, designed, worked on, and helped to sell many consumer home products which have ended up on major retail sporting goods shelves as well as online stores. Many of the products I have designed have been patented (see below). I have extensive experience with 3-D modeling and surfacing CAD software (most proficient with Solid Works and Pro Engineer/Creo), GD&T, Product Definition Package Creation, product testing, product development and enhancements, plastic part design, metal part design, Welding and Welding Processes, Sheet Metal Fabrication, and engineering materials used in mechanical design.

I am a mechanical design engineer with 8 years of experience working in a variety of industries including, aerospace and defense, medical equipment, factory automation, and outdoor cooking. I earned my bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Utah State University and a Master's of Business Administration with a focus in Engineering Management from Southern New Hampshire University. I am a Certified Solidworks Expert. I have experience in all stages of the design process, from brainstorming to prototyping to large scale manufacturing.
