Engineer with a mid-sized manufacturer of replacement components for rotary bottle filling and bottle capping equipment. Previously owned and operated a small general machine shop for 10 years. We produced custom machined components for local businesses. The day to day was mostly machining related. I did design and build custom products. I'm particularly proud of is the Minute Man wheel lift. It was designed for repossession companies to transform any 3/4 ton and larger pickup truck into a tow truck. After my entrepreneurial days I worked as a machinist, CNC programmer & Manufacturing Engineer for a international corporation that produced valves, seals & pumps for diverse applications. I worked my way into an Manufacturing Engineering position over a 9-1/2 year span. My current position as an Engineer is quite diverse. I wear many hats that pull from my many years of manufacturing experience. This experience has proven very valuable to create functional designs using SolidWorks. Within these functional designs I ensure that the components are designed for ease of manufacturing.

Hello, I am Erik Lee. I attended Lawrence Technological University for a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Technologies. From this program I received Cum Laude honors at my graduation in 2021. Recently, I founded my own CAD Design and Engineering business and am seeking more clientele. My specialty is using SolidWorks to create various mechanical parts, assemblies, and 2D drawings that are then machined. From my education, both high school and secondary, I have over seven years of SolidWorks experience. Early this year I obtained my CSWA – Mechanical Design certification. In addition to my experience with SolidWorks, I also have experience with programs such as Siemens NX, Autodesk, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Started designing in 2005 and since I have professionally used Pro-E, Catia, Solidworks, AutoCad, and Fusion 360. I have worked as a Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineer and have worked with designs on both simple brackets and complex vehicle A class surfaces. My current choice of software is Fusion 360 but able to work with any converted data.
