I am approaching 20 years in my career and I still enjoy making products "come to life" through models and drawings. Working with various manufacturing businesses, I have learned along the way how to begin a project and attend to all details in order to create a manufacture-able product. My background as a machinist along with my CAD skills and not being afraid to pursue ideas, have allowed me to bring innovation to the table. My strengths included mechanical 3D modeling along with drawings and G-code generation for CNC machining. Some competitions I competed in were MITES and SkillsUSA. I competed in MITES my sophomore through senior year where I had multiple projects place top 3 in the state. I competed in SkillsUSA nationals in a team of 3 where I focused on the G-code generation along with CAD modeling and drawings.
