I have a passion for Mechanical Engineering, Design & Manufacturing & I love helping people and companies bring their ideas to life! I have over 20 years of mechanical engineering & design experience. My design experience includes designing parts for injection molding, punch press, press brake, machining, laser/water jet cutting, & welding. Much of my experience is also designing assemblies for various industries such as Aerial Work Platforms, Machine Tool, Automation & Robotics. I have a background engineering in a fast-paced corporate environment. In that arena, I did design work for companies such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Space X, Blueorign, Ford, GM and many others. I have created several designs that have been awarded patents (10,724,657; Cable carrier guide, 9,803,721; Hybrid cable carrier chain, 9,722,402; Cable carrier guide, 7,784,259; Monolithic enclosed cable carrier). My work has embodied projects as small as a single part to complex systems containing thousands of parts. I am a Mechanical and Drafting Engineer with a background in product development and marketing strategies. I own a local design firm with which I work primarily in the firearms and defense industry designing and producing high quality aftermarket parts and assemblies for both private and commercial markets. I currently hold 3 patent pending designs/products in the firearms industry with 3 more being added in the second quarter of 2017 with new product releases. I have a keen understanding of metallurgy, product development, and working within manufacturing practicality guidelines as well as an individual manufacturer's machining capabilities. 3D modeling is where my skills are best put to use as I love creating products no matter their complexity or the overall challenge in front of me. I am able to design parts or products of any size quickly and efficiently. I also have the ability to quickly create basic models with complete assemblies or sub-assemblies according to your needs and specifications.
