Hello my name is Jason I have 17 years experience as a project manager/auto cad technician/3D designer. I have a lot of experience creating production blueprints, floor plans, elevations, as well drawings for CNC production. I also have the ability to create 3D photo realistic drawings. I have worked for seven years in the exhibit industry. This allowed me to work with some of the newest and greatest material available. Such as paper stone and bamboo plywood. I also worked for two years as the main drafting /engineer/project manager at a millwork shop that produced all of the interior decor to four restaurants. I have worked for two exhibit companies as a project manager/auto cad technician. The exhibit industry is always looking to use the latest and greatest materials. Designing and building booths for tradeshows always makes you think outside the box. Not only did we design and create 3D renderings of the booths we also created all the production plans required to build and assemble. After the exhibit industry I worked as a project manager/auto cad technician/designer, at a millwork/interior decor company. Here I have a lot of freedom to think outside the box as well. I created drafting and drawing standards at the facility that are still in place today. I worked at a small machine shop part-time. While working at the machine shop, I would transform hand-drawn sketches into 3D models, so I could identify errors to the shop owner before he was going to machine a part. Once the part was detailed to how he liked it, I was then tasked with transferring it to the next step in the process. The shop owner first showed me how to manually machine parts before he showed me the CNC portion of it after undertaking that I started to figure out how to design parts more efficiently. As the years went on now early 2022, I found a new job working at an engineering firm as a draftsman detailing mechanical drawings for General Motors. I gained more knowledge for detailing and 3D modeling. I was hired primarily for detailing Auto-cad well explaining misunderstanding drawings, but I was shifted towards mechanical design once my manager well explain misunderstanding had seen what I was capable of. One project, in particular, I was in charge of 3D pipe routing for a die cast cooling system. Taking on that project allowed me to learn so much about piping standards.

I've worked with machines & engines that have a terrible design for one reason; the designer has no clue what its like to work with the machine itself. For example, the design requires a 8 hour down period for a simple bearing replacement. Designs need to be user friendly, majority of engineers don't understand this concept. They design it to work and work alone. A great engineer designs for quality, simple maintenance, cheapest fabrication, popular parts (bearings, worm screws, pillow blocks, etc.). My designs offer perfection, realism, and lowest fabrication cost.
