My name is Robert Holden and I find the right balance for successful project design. Projects begin with ideas. Ideas convert to goals. Attaining goals often require a physical environment to accomplish. ►This is the point where I join the conversation. I begin with a detailed scope of work based on a legacy of successful projects. ►Next, schematic design is an iterative process where investigation compiles constraints. ►Constraints are documented in a program. Once approved, the program is the basis for graphic representations of conceptual designs. ►With a selected design concept, design development begins, documented methods, materials and components are incorporated into the program. ►A completed program is melded into a construction model. The model is carved into construction documents. ►Construction documents are divided by trade. Each trade submits a proposal for construction. ►With accepted proposals, construction administration begins with site mobilization and kickoff. This is the point where conversations that I initiated have been expressed, work now delegated to trades, I remain available for clarifications and change orders, only as required. The aforementioned steps have successfully attained many goals. At times I'm a team member on large complex projects. The largest projects may take months of work to complete. Sometimes I work alone on small projects. On very small projects these steps may be accomplished within hours. Trackball in hand, Revit subscription, on the 11th floor of Plaza Asturias in beautiful Maringá Paraná, with a black pug, Noah, and my husband, Joaõ, I am ready to discuss your goals. Except when I'm in my morning AcquaPower class at the gym. ▓ Please emall, text, call or message me about what I may do to help. ▓

Lumière Studios is a Chicago-based technical production firm focused on the execution of complex BIM and visualization mandates. We operate as a strategic, white-label partner for architects, developers, and general contractors, providing the specialized bandwidth required to transition projects from conceptual design to coordinated construction documentation with high velocity. Service Pillars: I. BIM Coordination & Technical Modeling: Our primary mandate involves the authoring of accurate BIM models (LOD 200–400) to support architects and builders in securing approvals and mitigating the risk of costly site errors. We specialize in model creation, clash detection, and scan-to-BIM coordination to identify spatial conflicts before materialization. II. Executive 4K Visualization: Complementing our technical rigor, we leverage a high-end tech stack to transform existing plans into photorealistic 4K assets. These deliverables are engineered to secure stakeholder alignment, drive pre-sales, and facilitate capital ROI. III. Technical 2D Drafting: We produce clear, non-stamped architectural and MEP plan sets, including fabrication and shop drawings for seamless project communication. Commercial Impact: Our technical assets act as a catalyst for project growth. In a benchmark case study, the deployment of our team's high-fidelity visualization assets and video walkthroughs facilitated a 300% increase in a client’s project budget—transforming an initial $400,000 allocation into a $1.6 million project. Operational Governance: Lumière Studios provides non-licensed technical design support only. All instruments of service are intended for coordination and visualization; deliverables must be reviewed and stamped by the licensed professional of record prior to construction. We prioritize technical precision while maintaining strict governance over build-liability. Minimum Project Engagement: $2,000

I am a Product and Mechanical Designer. Much of my career is involved in computer aided design of components for the aerospace, transportation and medical device industries. I am also a US Navy veteran. While working at United Launch Alliance (ULA) I supplied 3D CAD models from the engineering group to the tooling supplier enabling concurrent design of manufacturing tooling. I also supported the ordnance group by designing a stage separation component test stand. I have also designed more than 450 FAA certified components for the Adam A500 aircraft. I find that wherever I have worked, I bring three key strengths to the table: CAD expertise, component design and invariably I have gained a reputation as the GoTo guy to support high value projects. I have a passion for designing products that are making a positive impact on the environment. On my personal time I have designed concepts for Smoker, furniture and environmentally friendly lawn and garden power equipment. I am looking for a position that uses my skills, experiences and passion for product design to support your engineering group.

Very unique skillset. Innovative. Extremely hard-working. 13 years of professional experience with a robust and diverse portfolio. Projects range from large-scale stone sculptures using ancient carving techniques, to cutting-edge 3D architectural models using the latest BIM and rendering software. I work in a wide-range of mediums, both by hand and digitally. The more I expand into another category, the more it enables me to push the limits of the next. For instance, the more I have developed my freehand drawing skills, the more I have been able to push what I do in the computer. And vice versa. This well-rounded background allows me to approach each project organically, without being biased towards one fixated linear process. This allows for more design feedback to occur, and it also translates to multiple solutions for each project. This means that you'll be able to visualize your project in the best possible way, tailored to you. Architecture is primary focus, but other creative design projects are encouraged. Scope of work could include anything from large architectural visualization projects to quick one-off design studies or initial prototype models. Software Skills Expert Level: □ Revit (10,000+ hrs, Pro Certified, Custom Apps) □ Form Z (geometric/semi-organic modeling) □ SketchUp High Proficiency: □ Photoshop (Arch. Focus) □ AutoCAD □ Mudbox (Digital Sculpting) Decent: □ 3ds Max (Rendering, Vray, Poly Modeling) □ Artlantis (Architectural Cinematography) - Extremely proficient in rectilinear modeling, BIM, and geometric modeling. Proficient in organic modeling and digital sculpting. - Experienced and well-rounded enough in software knowledge to create whatever can be imagined in 3D format, one way or another. - I regularly use several other software programs for various purposes in the design/build workflow. - Skilled in rendering, but my 3D models are often highly detailed working models of the design, as opposed to rendering-only as an end-goal. High-end renderings and presentations are also available as required to market, visualize, or simply to "sell your idea". Hand Skills Conceptual Design, Freehand Sketching and Drawing (pen, pencil, or ink and marker), Watercolor and Oil Painting, and Stone Sculpture.

A playful, sensitive, caring human who has practiced and loved designing products since I was a child. Raised with regular access to a wood shop from age five by a wonderfully patient father I built cabinets and furniture in my early teens and worked into the construction trades until my early 20's when I tired of my options and started night school at my local JC. I eventually earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly, SLO, and worked for 12 years in the design and manufacture of a range of products in the industrial, recreation and medical device sectors. During that time I learned the subtleties of many primary manufacturing processes including machining and metal fabrication, extrusion design, some metal casting, CNC sheet metal production, metal hydro-forming and high-pressure thermal forming of plastics along with applicable coatings and finishing technologies for the same. I was also schooled in the development, application, and auditing of quality systems under ISO and FDA guidelines and the associated supply chain establishment and maintenance needed for the manufacture of products to exacting standards. Thinking I needed a change from the corporate world I began consulting on designs for small solar and wind installations and studied the emerging materials science applications of Geopolymers for infrastructure applications. I developed conceptual designs for automated equipment to refurbish small bridges based on the results of various Geopolymer studies but was unable to elicit support for its development. I explored ways of improving commercial greenhouse production while lowering the energy expenditures and later for lowering the cost and improving the efficiency of GSHP, (Ground Source Heat Pump), technologies but was equally unsuccessful at finding support for my proposed solutions. In recent years I have returned to consulting on product development for others and still look forward to helping develop new and refine existing technologies to address the considerable challenges facing our world. In general, I would characterize myself as a mostly talented mechanical/manufacturing engineer and product designer who is skilled at the synthesis of elegant solutions through the application of wide-ranging technologies.

I have over 10 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, within both the government and commercial sectors. I hold both a Bachelor's and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida (Class of 2008 and 2015 respectively), where I was a member of the American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics, as well as the president of the UCF student chapter of the Society of Automotive Engineers. My experience spans many creative and complex projects ranging from automobile braking systems to deployable space antennas. I have extensive experience in conceptualizing, designing, and manufacturing of ruggedized designs for use in sub-sea robotics systems as well as COTS electronics for use in extreme environments. I have succeeded in many designs from concept through small scale manufacturing, both for corporations as well as my own business. My sub-sea design work includes the mechanical design of a marine robotics system that provides for a reconfigurable electronics payload, as well as a universal manipulator mounting system. I have also recently developed a marine buoy which included the design and manufacture of sealed pressure vessels. I currently am developing a line of underwater LED lights which I am in the process of taking from prototype to production. These lights are designed to be rugged and work in the harsh marine environment with essentially zero maintenance. I have previously designed and manufactured a line of license plate mounting brackets for various motorcycles. My Engineering interests are based around the marine and automotive fields, as well as aerospace and consumer goods.

Hello and thank you for your interest in choosing me to be a part of your team! If you're reading this, you are probably interested in getting to learn a little more about my skill set as well as the person you are going to be working with. To give you a quick run through, I am a product Design graduate from the University of Louisiana. During my time there, I I was part of a transit development team in the Product Design department that worked and created a new system of travel for the university. This experience led me to become a Marine Designer. I worked with a team of engineers and other designers to design and create new marine vessels. My job responsibilities entailed 3D modeling vessels for manufacturing, creating 2D construction drawings from my 3D models for the ship yards, creating renderings from my models for shipyards, image editing and creating images for company marketing. My greatest accomplishment at this job was being a part of a team that created the worlds fastest aluminum boat over 200 feet. From Marine Design, I took an opportunity as a Jewelry Designer. This is my current day job. I am challenged everyday in creating and designing 3D models that require the utmost expertise to achieve the designs complex, free-form shapes. I absolutely love what I do, and have a passion for 3D modeling and design. This year alone, I have done over 500 unique 3D models! I would love the opportunity to join your team, and help make your dream a reality! Please feel free to contact me for more information or discussion of why I believe I will be a great fit for your team.
