I have a BSc 2.1 (Hons) in Manufacturing Engineering and a PGCE (Education) in Maths & Computing. I spent most of my career in Education teaching Engineering, Mathematics & Computing at Further Education level. I produce the application Fluid Designer for 3D Printing (Parametric Blender), free software with learning resources for those interested in 3D Printing - http://www.fluiddesigner.co.uk/. Fluid Designer itself was developed by Microvellum and based on the Open Source application Blender. I have added additional design tools and a wide range of template patterns that enable anyone to created their own personalised designs quickly and easily. Highly experienced in the design, development, build and qualification of complex visual and thermal imaging camera, laser and multi-sensor systems. Coupled with hands on on experience in a production/manufacturing engineering role which has allowed me to develop a strong skillset in design for manufacture, qualification and configuration management.
