Mechanical engineering technologist I am a mechanical engineering technologist who loves machine design. I have a mechanical engineering technology diploma, as well as an advanced diploma in mechanical engineering, and I am currently working towards my bachelor's degree at the University of British Columbia. I am very experienced in 3D design in both Autodesk Inventor and Siemens Solid Edge including component design, assemblies, and detail drawing packages. I have experience in the automotive sector designing testing equipment for motorised components. Beyond my engineering education and experience, I am a millwright and have a long history of mechanical experience. I spent two years as an automotive mechanic, and eight years in ski lift construction. This hands on experience complements my education by giving me an intuitive sense of how machines work and how to design in a practical and efficient way.
