Seeking an experienced US-based mechanical design engineer to take a confidential, proprietary handheld electromechanical accessory and its base charging cradle from detailed 3D modeling to manufacturing-ready files. This job involves PCBs, so keep that in mind. I am looking for a milestone project, which is to say, I am not looking for one person to do the CAD and another to do step two. One person from start to finish. Full technical specifications and functional details will be shared only after an NDA is signed. I cannot overstate this, if you cannot provide proof of US residency your application will not be considered! It has to do with NDA enforcement laws.
Scope of Work
Parametric CAD Modeling: Develop clean 3D assemblies for the handheld housing and base cradle, optimized for rapid prototyping and DFM (injection molding/CNC).
Mechanical & Docking Integration: Design internal spatial allocations, structural enclosures, and secure physical/electrical docking mechanics.
Manufacturing Package: Provide complete native files, .STEP exports, 2D fabrication drawings, and material selection recommendations.
