We have existing engineering drawings and preliminary designs and are seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to independently evaluate, refine, and optimize the design for prototyping and eventual mass production.
This is an existing product concept, not a project requiring design from scratch.
Scope of Work
We are looking for assistance with:
Reviewing existing CAD drawings, dimensions, and mechanical design.
Evaluating component fit, tolerances, and structural integrity.
Reviewing mechanical attachment and removable component functionality.
Optimizing the design for plastic extrusion manufacturing.
Identifying opportunities to simplify manufacturing and reduce production costs.
Recommending suitable materials and production methods.
Preparing updated engineering drawings and CAD files suitable for prototyping and manufacturer quotations.
