Description:
We are looking for concept designs for our smart lock technology. There are 2 aspects to this design. We want to design the tesla of smart locks. In terms of functionality and intelligence but most of all look, feel. Something that stands out from the crowd of pretty ugly basic designs that have already made it to the direct to consumer market. Looking to innovate but also hide inside the lock somewhere for a real key that is not visible unless of emergency.1. We are designing a reader for granting entry into a condo or apartment building, that a user will touch their phone using nfc or blu tooth. Each reader will connect directly to the cloud via iot chip inside. There will not be big cables and wiring needed in this case.
2. We are looking to design and actual door handle and smart lock for the doors of condos and apartment buildings moving deadbolt locks. These will not be individually purchased as we are a b2b business.
Please evaluate the images and the companies designs i have uploaded as a base for the product line we are building. I would like similar feeling to latch, but with a little more tesla influence. That goes foe the reader of the phone and for the lock that goes on a condo or apartment. Please disregard the middle product on the screen shot for latch. We are building the first and third. Kisi as well imagine creating that reader that looks and feels so much better, something you can see in a modern building built for the internet age.
Wants:
since this is a concept design i wont be too tight on specs regarding size. But understand this is being designed for the interior of a building. Inspiration is what tesla did to the media console of their car. One large elegant screenThings I would like to see in this design in modern simplicity for the connected world. A product that would fit in with medium to higher end condos and apartment buildings, and something that would be very powerful and elegant , while staying seeming flush / hidden when not in use.
1. incorporation of an led touch screen ( be creative but realistic with shapes)
screen must be large enough to interact with but not be out of balance with a door and how the lock and deadbolt proportions currently are. Pushing boundaries but not being weird.
2. the ability to enter a numeric code that id only presented but fully hidden otherwise.

Don't Wants:
bulky, cheap looking products / or more of the same this is currently out on the market in terms of design. If you google smart locks you will see what i mean.

Hi there! (I see many entries xD) Wait for me, I'm gathering technical research, and aesthetics for the design. I don't send anything that occurred to me in 5 minutes, just upload something with which I have worked thoroughly philosophical, anthropological, technical and aesthetic! D wait for me!
Look too black. need more accents less ciruclar and add in a white door. Also accents on lights for NFC tap zone.
Can you produce something else, this is not very appealing to me.
No lock turning unit. I like the design but remove that and add more accents on the NFC tab section and on the countour with lighg effects. put on a white door.
Not in love with this one, looks a metal frame over an iphone. I need sometyhing that looks more like a spaceship lock system made by APPLE>
Nice concept but I would want to see a less big more slick compact design preferably in black with more light accnets like LED countour or something like that.
I like how you are hiding the keyhole. but if we loose the piece we are ttoast. Can you find other ways to hide it and not loose th piece. Also do something more rectangular or circular please. Lastly try black. Add it to a door white and add just the screen and another one with a handle to pull the door
the keyhole is too obvious. I would like to make it as invicible as posisble.
Please research how tick the lock should be. I feel it is too bulky, a key would not reach to the chamber on this design.

Very slick but ill like to see more lighting effects. Also that handle you put looks weird. I want to see one just the screen and one screen with handle. I am sure it will get very dirty if you leave it solid on the bottom of handle. Try more things regarding the handle. Accentuate more thte NFC tab via lighting or accents.

Please focus attention on the LATCH family of products. We Require designs for the unit itself as well the Unit integrated with the door-handle. Rectangular and circular designs. I have added a new image to consider. We are developing the same interface to be used for a smartlock on a condo or apartment door. BUT as well as the reader for access to the main entrance and additional access restricted doors that are in public spaces. Also a third for the lock and doo handle for for the exterior of a smaller condo building. I would like to see all options. EVERYTHING basing of the same interface.

I am creating a mobile phone "pouch" that has 3 functions and comes in two sizes to accommodate the most popular mobile phones on the market today:
1) protect your mobile phone from water damage. similar to waterproof phone pouches currently on the market. (picture someone laying on a pool float, listening to music on their phone)
2) reflect the heat transfer from the sun to a customers mobile phone & prevent it from overheating on hot summer days.
3) allow the customer to still access the screen of their phone with front "flap" that opens and closes easily and is on the outside of the clear, waterproof plastic pouch.
Soft close, no pinch safety hinge
We are a company that provides innovative product solutions for the physical education and educational market. We pride ourselves in providing the most innovative, high quality product to our customer. This product would be a soft close, safety hinge used to hold the lid open on our line of ball carts. It needs to be pressure sensitive and stay open at any angle and not slam closed. It also must not have any pinch points where the fingers could get pinched. The lid would need to be pushed closed by the user. The lid itself that needs to be supported is about 25lbs., however, the hinge would need to support more in order to keep it from closing on it's own. The end user can be a student so safety is critical. There are many soft close hinges on the market, many with pneumatic functionality and gas hinges and often used on toy boxes. I have attached a photo of an existing hinge on the market just for reference. I am open to materials based on design and likely will need to be pneumatic or incorporate a gas hinge. I have included a link to our website to see the carts it would be used on. You can also see a few of the existing hinges that have been/are being used that I am looking to update with a better hinge. I am also including files to the carts themselves so you can see the product the hinge will be used on, as well as instructions that show the current hinge being used that I am looking to update. The existing hinge is not ideal as there are potential pinch points.

Segmented Connect-a-Hoop
We are a company that provides innovative product solutions for the physical education and educational market. We pride ourselves in providing the most innovative, high quality product to our customer. This product would be a segmented hula hoop that consists of multiple segments that connect together, allowing the user to create 3 different size hoops based on the number of segments used. This allows the user to build the hoops size they choose. The key factor in this design is to have a unique, innovative connection point that is easy to put together and take apart, holds the hoop securely together when in use and will not become weak or break when used repeatedly in an institutional setting. The connection point must be able to be taken apart and put back together an indefinite number of times without the strength being jeopardized.
Dual-Camera Module for Automobiles
I am looking to get a dual-camera module designed, with certain electronic components within (connection pcb, mic, speaker). This module is targeted to go inside the cabin of vehicles, both large vehicles and small vehicles. The cameras should be adjustable, but should have the option to be locked from the inside so that others cannot change its view. One camera would face the inside of the vehicle, the second camera would be facing outside the vehicle. The device should have a small form factor, and would have a cable exiting it.
