Description:
We are seeking designs for a pet wearable band. Which will encase an oval shaped device that will go on a pet collar. At this time we are seeking some creative designs but not the actual 3D printed versions. We have attached a few photos of what we are seeking; including a version that would be a bow for a female and bone for a male. We are open to other concepts and ideas. The oval in the middle of the designs will house the wearable.
Wants:
We would like to see a variety of different bands and other cool designs.
Don't Wants:
Just to see bows and bones. I need everyone to be as creative as possible.

Who is the winner?
so instead of saying, "read the instructions", I would recommend you provide better instruction.
It wasn't clear what you DO'NT want, and it not clear what you DO want either.
You provided a sketch of something that doesn't make sense showing some sort of band that is supposed to accommodate
any varying thickness on a dog collar, you don't say what the product is, you don't provide a dimensional envelope,
and you haven't defined the materials you want to produce this in.
So what you see..... is what you get. What is meant by "you want to see a variety of different bands". ? What band are you talking about ?

I also said I DON'T just want to see bows and bones. That's all I'm really seeing here.
Everyone,
Please see the instructions on this contest. Per my request - I DON'T need 3D designs. I just need rough graphic design of ideas. I need to see this on a collar and the mechanism that will attach the collar to this device.

Don't close this competition before time. I will submit my entry soon.
All,
I don't need 3D - I just need the graphic images.

I don't. Just looking for general design.
Hi Bryant! Please let me know that do you have any dimensions for this collar design ?

Custom Mouse Design
Looking for a unique computer mouse concept that can enclose a finger wearable ring inside and has a clear opening cover. The cover acts like a see-through area for the ring and can be easily opened for the retrieval of the ring. The optimal solution would have minimum parts and design of manufacturing feasibility.
The cover hinge should be sturdy to support a long lifespan.
- The mouse design should have ergonomic curve geometry to rest the thumb of the users.
- A compact design that can house two AAA batteries and the PCB board is required.
- The bottom part should have an opening to expose the optical sensor of the mouse.
- No power slide switch is needed since it is provided on the ring. When the cover is open, no electronic board should be visible
Approximate dimensions – L 115mm x W 66m (as compact as possible)
- LED requirement - An LED indicator needs to be provided on the mouse (see the image attached with dimensions)
- Battery – Should have an opening for a battery for the replacement.
- Required file format -. step
*Note – The base of Finger wearable ring to be in level with the base of mouse (see the image attached)
Sheet metal fabrication design
We are a start-up design company based in Mullingar and supported by Enterprise Ireland as a HPSU.
We require an experienced solidworks engineer to complete various sheet metal components in flat sheet
and folded.
Initially we would require in the region of 20/30 hours service which may be extended.
Einsteins Training Paws
Concept: Create a device with the ability for a dog to put his paw on six different areas. Embedded in the pad or mat are proximity switches. As the dog places their paw in each area both words, i.e. Drink, Eat, Outside, Love Me, Play and Leave Me Alone are played along with an accompanied dog sound, background noise (or Bark, etc). They include:
1. Drink
2. Eat
3. Outside
4. Love
5. Play
6. Leave me alone
I would also link up via marketing with the current paw treat dispenser (marketing relationship), some have dual cameras so u can see them and they can see u and u can electronically send them a treat.

Imagine a hybrid of a puppy dispensing system above with the Einstein Training Pad. The dog steps on hungry or water

How many dogs are there in the US?
According to a pet owners survey, there were approximately 89.7 million dogs owned in the United States in 2017. This is an increase of over 20 million since the beginning of the survey period in 2000, when around 68 million dogs were owned in the United States. Number of dogs in the U.S. 2000-2017. Published by Emma Bedford, Nov 27, 2019. The statistic also shows the share of pet owners in the United States in 2016, by generation. In 2016, 35 percent of pet owners were Millennials. Baby boomers were the next largest generation of pet owner, with 32 percent. Statista 2020
Quick Access Sun Stations
Quick Access Sun Stations is a self service sunscreen station placed throughout outdoor venues such as theme parks, water parks, state parks, zoo's, golf courses, ski resorts, etc.
The Quick Access Sun Stations provides sunscreen through a hand held device (think of a spray tanning gun) which the customer will direct and spray on themselves, in the areas where they need skin/sun protection.
The station will be a 4' square footprint with hand held devices placed equal distances around the station. There should be enough space for 4 customers at a time, allowing application of sunscreen to the skin that is exposed. The machine is equipped with a method to accept credit card or mobile payments (via a mobile scan or entry of a confirmation code). The station needs to allow the customer to select the level of sunscreen protection they want (there will be 2 protection levels). Sunscreen will be stored in 2 different reservoirs which is contained internal to the unit.
I am looking for a product design encompassing the features I outlined above. I would like to see a prototype of the machine mock-up, both the external (what the customer will see) and internal (what the sunscreen servicer will see). In the mock-up a small divider between stations (to prevent overspray) and a matt under the entire unit to prevent slipping should be visible. The stations will require power, access either under the machine or some place that doesn't limit the space for the number of hand held devices. A self powered station would be ideal but not sure it is entirely feasible.
