Assemble layers of mechanical systems on one another to create a complete car. The purpose of the animation is to demonstrate the complexity of today's car.
Elegant transformation of what makes up a car by starting with the powertrain components and building up to a completed car. Systems that you will layer will be engine, transmission, drive train, steering, brakes, electrical, electronics, heating, cooling, suspension. I have some exploded views that have already been created that will give you a sense of what we currently have.
Don't Wants:
The concept will need to be interactive so that we can access different systems easily. Cannot be static
Ask for Sample:
I would like a sample
  1. You decide on the software. We will need to integrate it with our javascript software

It looks like the Unity Engine would work for this project. We use Chrome in our application and we control all of the hardware and software on the system for now. I noticed that the NPAPI is no longer supported in Chrome. It appears that WebGL is utilized as well. I was not able to get the Unity plug in to work in Chrome.

The car should be generic. We need 3d visualization of the assembly of the various systems: engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, cooling, heating, electronics.

The original work was done by a gentleman who no longer does contract work. The you tube link shows what we originally started with

However, the goal for this project is to demonstrate the complexity of a car. We sell Vehicle Service Contracts. We want to show that a car is composed of about 10 different systems. We separate the systems into two groupings: powertrain and non-powertrain. We want the powertrain system to assemble itself on the screen. The we want to show different repair costs associated with the powertrain. Showing these costs could be as simple as hovering over a component and revealing a repair cost to something more complex, like hovering over a component, having an exploded view of that component revealing the complexity of the component and then show its repair cost.

The we want to overlay the other systems on the car: brakes, steering, suspension, cooling, heating, electrical, electronics. We want to show how the electrical and electronics have effectively made a car a "computer on wheels". We want the ability to demonstrate a number of repair costs for these systems.

I have some preliminary work that was done by the original gentleman that might give you a sense of what we want. I have seen a number of engine assembly videos on the web that essentially show an engine's parts coming together to create a completed engine.

The presentation will be shown inside of our software as a web based application. Currently not planned for mobile devices. Probably will need to be able to eventually move to mobile. But I am OK with it not being mobile compatible for now.

As far as I have understand, you need 3d interactive application, not video animation? Something like this project we did: http://dd3d.hr/unity-car-configurator/?lang=en
But this would have to show/hide different parts of car, so that user can see all parts of car?

Do you need some specific car brand/model, or it can be any kind of car; for example, car that doesn't have any branding and doesn't resemble any current car brand products.

Are you OK with us using 3d model that was already used in some projects (it's not 3d model made specifically for this project), or you want custom made 3d model that will be unique for your project?

Do you need any additional interaction elements, beside show/hide parts? Like displaying some textual info, measurements, animated parts of car (doors opening, engine parts moving, etc)

Since we use Unity3D that can work as standalone application, webGL application or mobile application, some extra info about your javascript software would be helpful, because it can be potential issue if you use something that won't be able to integrate with what Unity can build.

Will it be used as standalone application, web based application or will it be used on/for mobile devices? This dictates level of needed optimization and development process.

Overall, we are more then capable to make this kind of project, but we need more info about it to even consider applying for it, since there is a lot of things that can make this 100 working hours project or 1000 or more working hours project.

Yes. Steve was who did the original work for me. I want a continuation of that type of work.

Model and create and animate of this cute robot in Unity 3D using the provided mockup.
We're in need of a "Pixar polished" character that's friendly with a “Wall-E” like personality. We'd like to have these animations setup in Unity 3D, taking advantage of Unity's Animation State Machine to transition from a looped neutral state to one of many short "expressions" clips. The project requires that most of the animation will be in the eyes, like Wall-e or even more so like the Vector robot toy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gW2fCFSzuIQ) as inspiration. We'd love the ears to be floppy soft bodies like Apple’s Animoji’s (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zo-XkvEpKIs) when moving. And we’re open to suggestions in terms of the animations and approach, however I believe you can follow many of Vector’s list of expressions (see "vector-list-of-expressions.jpg") for direction. Lastly, you’d notice in the attached mock-up, that there’s an "accent ring" – we imagined that it would have a default loop for the neutral animation but it would change colors and tie into any particular emotion animation ( for example, it would turn fiery red when angry for instance) This project would require a total of 12 animated expressions (each under 3 seconds duration) as well as 2 looped neutral animations (please see the attached "animation list.png"). As a sample, you'll need to demonstrate going from 1 neutral animation to 1 happy animation for evaluation. The winner will be required to complete the remaining 12 animations
Best dressed 3D character
What I need for this job is for someone to be able to create a 3D character that manages to change its clothes. It would be some sort of MMORPG character creation, but more sophisticated. Also, I would like it to have special features, like automatic color combinations, random stylish clothing combinations and the sort. An example of what I would need you can find here (http://www.brooksbrothers.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-brooksbrothers-Site/da_DK/Product-Configurator?id=configurator-madison-suit). This should be done for a male, so there will not be so many clothing combinations as in for a woman. I tried doing it in Unity 3D, but the lack of time does not allow me to make it work. If you have another 3D software that you know better, I can accept it.
