Hello!
My name is Michal Panus and I am qualified Automation and Robotics Engineer with previous experience in maintenance, servicing and installation of production machines.
I have started my road to become engineer during my studies at Warsaw University of Technology, faculty of Mechatronics.
Studies in Poland are not very practical and I always believed that technical experience is priceless for someone who want to become a professional, and most of all, good engineer so I have decided to start work as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer at MPack where I was responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant machinery.
In September 2011 I have progressed to Service Engineer i SZUGAJEW AGRI. As a service Engineer I was responsible for installation of automated lines for grading and packaging of vegetables and fruits. That job involved working with engineering drawings, electrical and mechanical assembly, start ups and running tests of all the installed machines.
After that I have started work for CNS Soultions where I have become expert in using Solid Works 3D and Solid Works Electrical.
Since I moved to UK on 7th of January 2015 I have started to work as multi skilled designee engineer.
My First Engineering job in UK was in IONEX SG where I was responsible for designing container water treatment installation to remove nitrates from drinking water. (Contract - making drawings of 3D assemblies and part models, 2D documentation, pneumatic installations, selecting components, electrical routing, support project from the beginning to the end)
Next, I have started working as electro-mechanical engineer in OPTEK SYSTEMS where I was responsible for designing of
specialized laser cutting machinery. (Permanent - full electrical design, making drawings of 3D assemblies and part models, 2D documentation, designing safety systems for laboratories, redesigning of the existing laboratories, engineering support for wire man work, start up of machinery, etc. - 3.5 years)
Currently for more than 1 year I am on contract in RACE (Remote Applications in Challenging Environment) United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority where I am working as System Engineer.
I am responsible for designing of Safety Systems, LV distribution, supporting of electrical control design, cable tray layouts drawings, cabinet layouts drawing, etc.

Curently I am working as a contractor and my contract is 37.5h/ week
I am managing to finish my hours in 3.5 days a week so I have a lot of free time now.
That is why I have decided to joint that site and look for more opportunities to use time more effective.
I hope someone will be interested in my personal skills.

Best Regards
Michal Panus

Experience

  • Systems Engineer RACE Sep 2018 – Present 1 yrs 1 mos Culham, Abingdon, UK Designing of safety systems, LV distribution, cable trays layouts, electrical cabinet Layouts, control designee support, etc.
  • Electrical Design Engineer OPTEK SYSTEMS May 2015 – Jul 2018 3 yrs 2 mos Abingdon, UK Designing of electrical control and power circuits, making layouts of electrical cabinets, programming PLC and safety Relays (Allen Bradley Micro 850 series, CR30) with use of Connected Components Workbench software. Because of my former experience I was as well involved in electro-mechanical assembling, fault finding and . completing documentation, making BOMs, and helping in building process of machines (solving problems which are appearing during prototype and machinery build) (samples can be shown if required) (reference in writing can be provided)
  • 3d modelling / 2D documentation / Mechanical engineer IONEX SG Feb 2015 – May 2015 3 mos Stroud, UK I was involved in designing water treatment installations for drinking water purification. Designing process required knowledge about piping installations, mechanics of fluids and pneumatic installations. (samples can be shown if requested) (reference in writing can be provided)
  • CAD Specialist CNS Solutions Jun 2013 – Oct 2014 1 yrs 4 mos Poland I was employed as CAD Specialist, here I was responsible for meeting and solving many CAD design problems for customers. I was also responsible for preparing small projects and presentations of SolidWorks software.
  • Field Engineer SZUGAJEW AGRI Sep 2011 – Jan 2013 1 yrs 4 mos Poland (Company specialises in assembly and installation of automated lines for grading and packaging of fruits and vegetables) My work involve wide range of mechanical, electrical, automation work: installations for foreign companies such like: GREEFA, BURG, LONGOBARDI, AFFELDT In this work I was responsible for installation of machines at the costumer site: preparing geometry for machinery assembling, layouts modifications, electrical and mechanical assembly / installation of grading and packaging lines, machine start-ups and running of test.
