About

Hello!
My name is Michal Panus and I am qualified Automation and Robotics Engineer with previous experience in maintenance, servicing and installation of production machines.
I have started my road to become engineer during my studies at Warsaw University of Technology, faculty of Mechatronics.
Studies in Poland are not very practical and I always believed that technical experience is priceless for someone who want to become a professional, and most of all, good engineer so I have decided to start work as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer at MPack where I was responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant machinery.
In September 2011 I have progressed to Service Engineer i SZUGAJEW AGRI. As a service Engineer I was responsible for installation of automated lines for grading and packaging of vegetables and fruits. That job involved working with engineering drawings, electrical and mechanical assembly, start ups and running tests of all the installed machines.
After that I have started work for CNS Soultions where I have become expert in using Solid Works 3D and Solid Works Electrical.
Since I moved to UK on 7th of January 2015 I have started to work as multi skilled designee engineer.
My First Engineering job in UK was in IONEX SG where I was responsible for designing container water treatment installation to remove nitrates from drinking water. (Contract - making drawings of 3D assemblies and part models, 2D documentation, pneumatic installations, selecting components, electrical routing, support project from the beginning to the end)
Next, I have started working as electro-mechanical engineer in OPTEK SYSTEMS where I was responsible for designing of
specialized laser cutting machinery. (Permanent - full electrical design, making drawings of 3D assemblies and part models, 2D documentation, designing safety systems for laboratories, redesigning of the existing laboratories, engineering support for wire man work, start up of machinery, etc. - 3.5 years)
Currently for more than 1 year I am on contract in RACE (Remote Applications in Challenging Environment) United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority where I am working as System Engineer.
I am responsible for designing of Safety Systems, LV distribution, supporting of electrical control design, cable tray layouts drawings, cabinet layouts drawing, etc.

Curently I am working as a contractor and my contract is 37.5h/ week
I am managing to finish my hours in 3.5 days a week so I have a lot of free time now.
That is why I have decided to joint that site and look for more opportunities to use time more effective.
I hope someone will be interested in my personal skills.

Best Regards
Michal Panus
