About
I am an Industrial Designer who specializes in product and furniture design for the housewares industry. My work incorporates all aspects of the design process, from concept to mass production. With a BFA in Furniture Design from the Rhode Island School fo Design, I continue to work with clients who are in need of the following services:
Industrial Design -
Sketching concepts, 3D modeling in Rhinoceros, wireframe surfacing for complex forms, 3D printing and rapid prototyping, technical drawings and specifications for mass production, product renderings in Keyshot, renderings and line drawings for packaging, presentation design for buyer meetings and line sheets
Product Development -
Market and trend research, knowledge of materials and manufacturing capabilities, reviewing prototypes and physical samples of products, testing products to improve features for future iteration, participating in meetings with buyers, travel for trade shows and factory visits in China, and professional communication with domestic and international vendors.
Communication -
Keeping open communication with clients to further understand their needs and expectations, delivering all deliverables by set deadlines, ability to answer questions that clients may have in regards to designing for mass production, transparent workflow and availability
Through my time working as an Industrial Designer, I continue to design products for the largest retailers in the housewares industry, including Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Costco, Walmart, Macy's, and many more.
