I've worked in Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering for the past 20+ years. I'm currently an architectural designer but also do product design, civil design, as well as furniture/interior design. Architecture (software - Auto Cad, Revit, and Chief Architect): I've design residential houses using CMU block (Florida) and also using conc. poured basement foundations with framed walls (BC, Canada). I have also designed houses with ICF construction and know current architectural standards and building codes (IRC, BCBC, CBC, etc.). A lot of the current styles I design are modern, craftsman, and Mediterranean style houses. Mechanical Engineering (software - Solid Works): I've worked several years in the mechanical design field and have worked with gears, flanges, piping, plenums, sheet metal, CNC programming, and welding/bending/tolerances. Product Design (software - Auto CAD 3D & Solid Works): I've done some work with product design, have read and researched ways products are manufactured, and have designed improvements on current product trends. Plastic molds are a dominant feature for product design and knowing your type of plastic and its use play major roles during the design process. With experience in fields ranging from workflow optimization to medical and industrial product design, I have been fascinating by the art of computer aided engineering and design for years now. As the Chief Executive of 7C Laboratories, my success with personal ventures has been attributed greatly to my humble beginnings in design, and it only seems right to continue the work that has brought me this far, as it is highly fulfilling. Some of my most successful work was produced at my time at Cardon Rehabilitation & Medical Equipment Ltd., and Viper Tattoo Tables Ltd.; both of which introduced me to the fields of industrial and product design. I use Revit the most, and I can create components (families), floorplans, 3D and photorealistic renders, section views, and more. I am also skilled at AutoCAD and can create isometric, 2D, and 3D drawings and blocks. I operated my own business in designing and building furniture and decor items for personal clients and have designed and built nearly all the furniture in my own home.
