About

Freelance mechanical and mechatronic design engineer based in Italy, working with industrial clients since 2006. I take products and machines from a blank sheet to a manufacturable design — or work from your specifications — and validate them with FEA and CFD before you build prototypes.

What I do:
- Mechanical design of machines, mechanisms and products: 3D models, assemblies, production drawings and BOM
- FEA: stress, deformation and safety factor of shafts, gears, valves, frames and housings
- CFD: airflow, fans, ducts, filters, heat exchangers, heat sinks and thermal analysis
- Product and industrial design, rendering and 3D-printed prototypes
- Machinery Directive support: technical file and CE marking documentation

Industries: professional cooking equipment, packaging and robotic automation, industrial machinery, medical equipment (pneumatic dental unit, UV-C sterilization machine, clinic furniture), automotive (steering wheel armature) and aerospace (Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 flight simulator cockpits).

My background in electrical engineering and electronics means I can handle the whole machine, not just the structure. I use AI tools to speed up modelling, automate calculations and produce clear technical documentation.
