About

I am a Mechanical Design Engineer and Freelance Product Designer with over 10 years of
experience as an independent consultant. I specialize in taking mechanical systems
from initial concept through to high-volume manufacturing.
My core design philosophy is simple: Viability. A product has to be practical to use and
produce. Leveraging my hands-on production floor experience, my CAD models are not
merely visual concepts. They are meticulously engineered and optimized for available
manufacturing processes. My shop-floor background gives me confidence to put boots
on the ground as and when required.
I focus on cross-disciplinary hardware design across sectors including medical devices,
consumer products, industrial machinery, and solar energy systems. I routinely operate
under strict Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) to protect my clients' intellectual
property. I regularly attend national and international technology exhibitions to ensure I

Self Employed Techrower Technology · Self-employed May 2017 – Present 9 yrs 5 mos Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India Delivering end-to-end CAD modeling, DFM optimization, and product development for global
and domestic clients across medical, consumer, and automotive domains. Medical Device Systems Managed end-to-end development (from concept to finished product), incorporating
mold-friendly geometry for custom plastic and silicone components. Designed the internal mechanics and structural assembly for an automatic pill dispenser.
Engineered the complete mechanism and electronics integration, culminating in a fully
functional working prototype. Designed and developed medical furniture, including hospital beds, cardiac tables, side
lockers, and related equipment.
Consumer & Industrial Product
Designed a hybrid farmer’s work light, configuring the plastic body for injection molding and
the structural body for aluminum extrusion. Designed water fountains and accessories, including DFM (Design for Manufacturing)
optimization for laser cutting, laser welding, and sheet metal bending.
Designed plastic and metal casings for consumer electronics, AI (Artificial Intelligence), and
VR devices, ensuring compliance with strict Ingress Protection (IP) ratings. Reverse Engineering & Prototyping Executed daily 3D scanning and reverse engineering on machinery, automotive, industrial, and
artistic components. Utilized reverse engineering and rapid prototyping to support the design process.
