Abhinav C K.

Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on expertise in Autodesk Fusion 360, ANSYS Mechanical/Fluent, and MATLAB/Simulink for product design, structural and thermal simulation, and model-based system design.

Currently working on autonomous multirotor airframe design — building parametric, script-driven CAD workflows in Fusion 360, running structural (FEA) and aerodynamic/thermal (CFD) simulations in ANSYS, and validating outputs through independent cross-checks between tools. Experienced integrating multi-sensor payloads (LiDAR, depth cameras) into mechanical designs and simulating system behavior in ROS 2 / Gazebo.

Comfortable using AI/MCP-driven tooling to automate and accelerate CAD, FEA, CFD, and MATLAB/Simulink workflows — with a strong emphasis on validating AI-generated outputs against engineering requirements rather than taking them at face value.

Other project work includes generative design (40% weight reduction on a motorcycle component, FOS > 2 in ANSYS), CFD-based thermal efficiency improvements (15% gain on a heat exchanger), and biodiesel synthesis and testing.
