  • Festo MecLab Worked with a Festo MecLab training system, participating in its mechanical assembly, commissioning, and programming. Designed and modeled mechanical improvements and modifications to integrate new functionalities and improve the existing system. Developed and tested custom components, combining CAD modeling, mechanical design, pneumatic systems, and automation programming.
  • Mechanical Vise Designed and manufactured a functional bench vise as a personal mechanical engineering project, recreating the design based solely on a reference video. Developed the components and assemblies in 3D CAD and prepared them for manufacturing using CAM software. Manufactured prototype components in soft materials to validate dimensions and assembly before machining the final parts. Gained hands-on experience with CNC milling, conventional milling and turning, and FDM 3D printing throughout the prototyping and manufacturing process.
  • CanSat satellite Project Participated in the design and development of a CanSat, a small satellite-like payload designed to be launched and deployed from a rocket. Worked primarily on the mechanical design and 3D CAD modeling of the structure, including the design of the enclosure and internal component layout. Considered weight distribution, center of mass, structural constraints, and aerodynamic behavior during the design process. Also contributed to CFD analysis to evaluate and improve the aerodynamic characteristics of the design, while integrating the mechanical structure with the electronic components and sensors.
  • Eco Challenge High school engineering competition focused on the design and manufacture of an energy-efficient electric race car. Participated in the overall 3D CAD design of the vehicle, with a primary focus on the power transmission system. Worked on DFM-oriented CAD design, preparing components for manufacturing, and used CAM software to generate machining toolpaths. Gained hands-on experience operating conventional and CNC lathes and milling machines, as well as manufacturing and assembling mechanical components.
