Industrial concept design : I develop several suitable design ideas based on the product's size, purpose, industry, appearance and user experience.
Mechanical CAD design : I create accurate 3D parts and assemblies with practical dimensions, tolerances, materials, fasteners and manufacturing details.
PCB integrated enclosure design : I design the enclosure around the actual PCB, battery, buttons, display, antennas, connectors, sensors and wiring rather than treating the electronics as an afterthought.
Design review and problem solving : I look for interference, weak features, poor alignment, difficult assembly, leakage risks, heat buildup, and other issues that may cause trouble during prototyping or production.
Technical drawings : I prepare clear manufacturing and assembly drawings, exploded views, BOMs, and properly organized STEP, STL, DWG, DXF and PDF files.
Thermal calculation and simulation : I evaluate heat sources, airflow, enclosure temperature and cooling options to help protect the electronics and maintain reliable operation.
3D printing and verification : I prepare print ready models and use prototypes to check fit, PCB placement, button movement, fastening, accessibility and complete assembly.
Injection-molding preparation : I refine wall thicknesses, ribs, bosses, draft angles, fillets, parting considerations and other details needed for practical mold production.
Cost and manufacturing optimization : I look for sensible ways to simplify parts, reduce material use, shorten assembly and control production costs without weakening the design.
