My primary responsibility was taking raw site measurements and rough architect redlines and turning them into accurate 2D CAD layouts. Once the base drafting was set, I’d build out 3D models of the spaces or product fixtures to generate clean, natural lighting renders for client sign-offs. It required paying close attention to exact measurements, wall thicknesses, and material textures so there weren't surprises during actual fabrication.

Most of my day to day involved taking rough layout dimensions, building out clean 3D parametric models, and running quick stress tests to make sure parts would actually fit together before going to print. I handled a lot of file conversions too mostly taking messily formatted 2D PDFs or old DWG drafts from vendors and rebuilding them into STEP and STL files ready for 3D printing or CNC machining. Also put together clear assembly breakdowns so the assembly teams knew how the components slotted together.
