I'm a PEC-registered mechanical design engineer working mainly in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, with a focus on reverse engineering and production CAD.
Send me a hand sketch, a photo, a worn physical part or a rough PDF, and you get back a manufacturing-ready 3D model and a fully dimensioned GD&T drawing set. Most jobs turn around in about 48 hours.
The work I take on:
- Reverse engineering from a physical part, a 3D scan or photos into accurate, editable CAD.
- Sketch, photo or PDF converted into a parametric model that's ready for production, not just for looking at.
- 2D drawings with GD&T to ASME Y14.5, including tolerances, datums and BOM.
- Parts, assemblies and mechanisms, mated and motion-checked before they leave my desk.
- Structural and thermal FEA in ANSYS when you need to know a part holds up before it gets cut.
- A DFM pass on every job so the part can actually be machined or moulded.
You'll get native SolidWorks files (SLDPRT, SLDASM, SLDDRW), DWG and DXF for AutoCAD, STEP and IGES if you're on a different system, STL for printing, flat-pattern DXF for sheet metal, and PDF drawing sheets. For family-of-parts work I drive the models with Python, so a size change doesn't mean rebuilding from scratch.
