Wall-Mount Control Enclosure: Sheet Metal with Laser-Ready Flat Patterns

Seven-part wall-mount control enclosure, 500 × 400 × 200 mm (height × width × depth), in 1.5 mm steel with a 2 mm mounting plate, modelled in SolidWorks as true sheet metal. Bend radius 1.5 mm (2.0 mm on the plate), K-factor 0.44 throughout. The parts are a top, back and bottom wrapper with front return flanges, a mirrored pair of vented side panels, a wrap-return door, the mounting plate and two wall-mount tabs. Every part unfolds to a laser-cut blank. The wrapper develops to 936.57 mm, matching the hand-calculated bend allowance, and the two side panels share one 497 × 230.29 mm blank, so one nest cuts both. Outputs: native SolidWorks parts and assembly, STEP, and flat-pattern DXF with bend centrelines.
