• Mechanical Engineer Intern Kalmar Produktuteckling AB · Internship Jun 2026 – Jul 2026 1 mos Kalmar, Kalmar County, Sweden At this company i was responsible for designing a new, multi-functional packaging solution for the company's new product which had a few different specifications.
  
  The task was to design, CAD and manufacture/test the design of the packaging to ensure it was: easy to produce, worked for all different specifications of the product and that it could be manufactured and assembled from one piece of CNC-milled Styrofoam.
  
  At this position, i deepened my understanding of DFM, AutoCAD, Solidworks and creating manufacturing documenation for CNC-production.
• Product Design Engineer - DFM Engineer self emloyed · Freelance Jun 2026 – Jul 2026 1 mos Linköping, Östergötland County, Sweden Client had a clear design vision, Worked with the client to meet the aesthetic demands of the product while optimizing for injection molding.
  
  The project included problem solving with complex shut offs, to enable manufacturing of crucial undercut geometry. As well as designing a new type of two sided twist-lock to enable two different parts of the product to open and close with a twist-lock mechanism. All while keeping the dimensions of the product small and within the clients specifications.
