About
I turn 2D artwork and concepts into production-ready 3D CAD and CNC programs. My background is hands-on: I spent years as a CNC programmer and lead operator running an industrial flatbed router, where I designed the parts, wrote the CAM, and machined them myself. That means my models are built to actually cut and assemble, not just to look good in a render.
I work primarily in Fusion 360, with AutoCAD for 2D. Core strengths:
- 2D artwork (SVG, AI, EPS, DXF) to manufacturable 3D CAD
- Parametric product, furniture, and casework design
- 2.5D and full 3D relief, inlay, and engraving geometry
- Reverse engineering from images and reference parts
- Complete CAM: adaptive roughing, 3D finishing, drilling, contours
- Production-ready files in STEP, STL, and OBJ
I have authored CNC post-processors from scratch and built AI-assisted CAD/CAM workflows, so I am comfortable taking a project from raw artwork all the way to a file that runs clean on the machine. Designed parts in Fusion 360, wrote the CAM programs, set up fixturing, and ran production. Authored CNC post-processors from scratch for the shop machines and built AI-assisted CAD/CAM workflows to speed up programming. Work spanned casework, components, relief and dimensional carving, and one-off custom pieces.
