    I worked at Saint Jean Industries, an automotive forging and casting supplier (400 staff in France, 100 in China), as Industrialization Project Manager. I led CAPEX investments, automation projects, and performance improvements across both the French (Belleville) and Chinese (Changshu) sites. Below are the key projects I delivered.

    1. China Forge Line Automation – Changshu, China (2023–2024, 12 months)

    Full project management of a manual forge line retrofit to automation.
    - CAD layout design, ROI analysis, technical specifications (CDC/RFQ)
    - Procured: 8 robots, rotary furnace, trimming press, 3D vision on linear axis
    - Led and trained a cross-cultural Chinese engineering team
    - Participated in local recruitment interviews
    - Supervised on-site installation, commissioning, FAT/SAT
    - Created operator documentation in French and Chinese
    Results:
    - OEE maintained >85% post-automation
    - Gas consumption reduced >50% (new rotary furnace)
    - Fully commissioned system

    2. New Manufacturing Building Design – Changshu, China (2024–2025)

    Industrial planning (PLT) for a second production building.
    - Layout design, capacity modeling, equipment procurement roadmap
    - Full CAD integration: new forge line, logistics flows, future automation footprint

    3. Forge Line Retrofit & Automation – France (2021, 18 months)

    Complete retrofit of an existing forge line to improve throughput.
    - Designed and built an in-house 3D robotic de-stacking solution (trials, CAD, fabrication, assembly, commissioning)
    - Integrated 3D robotic de-stacking, 2D vision palletizing, and automatic tool change
    - Drafted multiple CDC/RFQ documents, managed diverse suppliers
    Results:
    - Full line operational and CE certified on schedule

    4. Casting Cooling System Overhaul – France (2019, 6 months)

    Identified cooling instability as root cause of casting defects.
    - Designed, validated, and deployed a new regulated flow-control cooling system across 14 machines
    - Applied Darcy-Weisbach calculations for hydraulic sizing
    - Prototype built and validated before full rollout
    Result:
    - Drastic improvement in quality control parameters

    5. Laser Marking Cell – France (2019)

    Specified, designed, and commissioned a CE-certified Class 1 laser marking cell.
    - Concept CAD, technical specifications (CDC), supplier selection, assembly, commissioning
    Result:
    - On-budget delivery, fully CE certified and Class 1 compliant

    6. Automated Part Inspection & Bin Picking – Feasibility Study (2024)

    End-to-end feasibility study for vision-based defect inspection and robotic bin picking.
    - ROI modeling, supplier trials, performance benchmarking
