For client work, I use FreeCAD for modeling and its FEM workbench (built on the open-source CalculiX solver) for structural analysis — clean, unrestricted tools that let me deliver universal file formats (STEP, IGES, STL) that work in whatever CAD system you use.
My focus is on results you can actually trust: understanding why a stress number is right, and being upfront about assumptions and limitations rather than surprises at delivery. Taking on part-time CAD modeling, FEA validation, and structural analysis work. Clear communicator, thorough documentation.
