Leonith Mechanics & Consulting is a mechanical engineering and product development firm specializing in taking products from concept through design, analysis, and manufacturing. We work with startups and small companies who need real engineering execution, not just CAD files.
Our core capabilities include product design for medical devices and industrial applications, injection mold and thermoforming tool design, structural and thermal simulation (FEA/FEM), design optimization for cost and manufacturability, and prototype-to-production workflows including additive manufacturing and injection molding coordination.

The firm is led by a mechanical engineer with a BS from Bilkent University and an upcoming MS at KU Leuven, with professional R&D experience in medical device product development, including implantable devices, sterile packaging systems, and precision tooling. Product and manufacturing engineer in the R&D department, working on the design and development of implantable neurosurgical devices. Primary focus is on programmable cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) shunt systems for hydrocephalus treatment.
Designed an MRI-safe adjustable brain shunt with a locking mechanism that maintains pressure settings during MRI scans. Developed a novel pressure adjustment technology with improved precision and expanded setting range compared to previous generations. Designed an electronic pressure adjustment tool using magnetic sensing for non-invasive detection and adjustment of implanted valve settings.
Responsible for injection mold and silicone press mold design for device components, thermoformed sterile packaging design (APET/PETG), and tolerance analysis for production-grade medical parts. Led the optimization of an External Ventricular Drainage (EVD) kit, reducing manufacturing time, material usage, and packaging volume.
Produced technical drawings to regulatory standards, collaborated with quality control on prototype testing and compliance review, and coordinated between R&D, manufacturing, and QC teams throughout the design-to-production cycle.

Designed and built a custom experimental test system for measuring reed valve force and flow coefficients in hermetic reciprocating compressors used in Beko's refrigeration product line. The project covered the full engineering cycle from concept through fabrication and validation.
Developed the mechanical design including a two-axis positioning system and custom test section, integrated laser triangulation sensors for non-contact displacement measurement alongside pressure, temperature, and flow instrumentation. Performed theoretical modeling of valve dynamics and validated results through experimental data acquisition and signal processing.
