About

I'm Moaz, an aerospace engineering student at Cairo University with an unwavering passion for designing and building aircrafts and UAVs. I leverage creative and design thinking skills to tackle challenges and bring innovative solutions to life.
I'm proficient in SolidWorks (CSWA) and utilized it along with mechanical design skills for making ideas come up to reality. I also have experience with other CAD software (Siemens' NX and Autodesk Fusion 360), and I have excellent skills in technical writing using Microsoft Word. Furthermore, I am actively expanding my knowledge in CFD & Structural analysis (ANSYS), UAV design (XFLR5, OpenVSP, ...) and AI. My hunger for learning extends to core scientific concepts, ensuring a strong foundation for my technical skills. This fuels my creative problem-solving and design approach.
Besides my career, I also have a variety of interests that I like to explore including fields like robotics, software development, physics, and even drawing. I have plenty of teamwork experiences which made me adept at working effectively in teams to achieve positive results through collaboration, negotiation, and effective communication.
I am eager to learn, develop and master new skills and in continuous search for opportunities to grow and advance in my career and in my life as a man and hopefully contribute to the future of aerospace. I believe that my greatest investments are in my mind and in my relationships.

Vehicle Design team member UDC Lab · Internship May 2024 – Present 1 yrs 8 mos Giza Governorate, Egypt A team member in UDC Lab at Cairo University responsible for everything regarding aerodynamics and propulsion of UAVs.
Structure and Mechanism team member SST Lab · Internship Dec 2022 – Jun 2025 2 yrs 6 mos Giza Governorate, Egypt A team member in SST Lab at Cairo University responsible for everything regarding structures and mechanisms design, simulation, fabrication, manufacturing and testing.
My responsibilities included:
Contributed to designing and testing a Can-Sat structure.
Helped in the Cube-Sat training held by the lab.
Prepared learning materials for new team members.
Designed a 1D drone thruster's structure.
