  • SAE Baja Electric Baja Build · Freelance Aug 2022 – Present 3 yrs 3 mos Golden, CO, United States Designed a roll cage, suspension, and other components for a fully electric Baja build. I acknowledge that real Baja race teams have 50+ years of experience and millions in resources over me. However, I learned a lot and can provide valuable guidance in automotive engineering, including recognizing when a specialist is needed for specific race types. Im most familer with Baja, Drag, Drift, Rally, and Touring

This experience has also helped me understand material sourcing, manufacturing, sponsorships, and design, including all of the above aspects.
  • Machine Design Gig work · Freelance Aug 2021 – Present 4 yrs 3 mos Denver, CO, United States I have designed and manufactured over 100 different parts for a variety of applications. I have hands-on experience with CNC mills, lathes, and many other types of machinery. Using 3D Mastercam programming (and other software), I’ve produced components such as clamps, molds, automotive parts, roll cage mounts, battery packs, and much more.

In addition, I’ve 3D printed numerous useful tools and have combined manufacturing methods to build gadgets. I alos used many diffrent methods to create machines such as vacuum formers, ABS plastic recyclers, ovens, and more. These builds often incorporate Arduino or other embedded systems. While I design the physical systems, any necessary software or programming is typically outsourced. CNC milling is recommended for the best and most serious parts (in small scale).
  • Metrology Engineer Colorado School Of Mines · Internship Aug 2021 – Dec 2023 2 yrs 4 mos Golden, CO, United States Colorado School of Mines acquired a new metrology scanning arm and laser from 3D Master Gauge during my time as a student. I took the initiative to learn the system and proposed using it to adapt a Baja build to fit an existing 2006 Jeep Cherokee. Following technical guidance from the company, I became proficient as a metrology scanning technician.

While the school's hardware had limitations, I’ve since adapted to more advanced, wireless scanners specifically suited for automotive projects. Larger scanners can also be utilized for surveying buildings or landscape.

Education

  • Colorado School of Mines Master, Technology Management 2022 – 2024 I hold a Master’s degree in Engineering Technology Management, where I learned how to effectively manage, fund, and generate revenue from engineering projects. While this knowledge may be less applicable to small-scale builds, it becomes highly valuable when considering manufacturing capabilities, scalability, and long-term project planning.
  • Colorado School of Mines Bachlelor of Engineering, Mechanical Engineeering 2018 – 2022 As a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the Colorado School of Mines, I bring a strong foundation in both design and hands-on manufacturing. My experience includes machine shop fabrication, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and advanced mechanical design using tools like Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks. Whether you're looking for precision part design, structural analysis, or complete product development, I have the technical skills and real-world experience to bring your project to life.
