  • Product design engineer Private company · Full-time Apr 2019 – Present 5 yrs Chennai, TN, India ▪ Experience in PCB mechanical design, defining mounting constraints for rigid and Flexible PCB’s through DXF
    and EMN (IDF) exchange.
    ▪ Experience in designing EMI/EMC, IP rated rugged electronic enclosures (Machined, sheet metal and plastic),
    Custom RF shields, 19” rack mountable chassis (1U,2U etc).
    ▪ Good knowledge in Thermal and structural hand calculation, stack-up calculation, heat sink and cooling fan
    selection.
    ▪ Selection of Shock Mount, Thermal pad, Wedge-lok to meet the requirement.
    ▪ Knowledge in Geometric dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). ASME Y14.5and Tolerance stack-up.
    ▪ Extensively work with PCB layout and Hardware engineers on Component placement considering Thermal
    and structural aspects.
    ▪ Knowledge in different material selection, finishing process & Manufacturing process

    ▪ Providing proposals, costing and scheduling for various projects.
    ▪ Good experience in selection of various instruments such as chillers, flow equipment, sensors and tools.
    ▪ Basic knowledge in Ansys Structural and Icepak modules.
    ▪ Overall PLM of Defense Avionics systems, technical discussion & Documentation for Preliminary and Critical
    Design Reviews
