Hello and thanks for reading my Bio. I'm a mechanical engineer with 2D drafting, 3D modelling and CAE experience. My drafting experience include product, prototype and machine design. I design various products for the Aerospace, Defence, Commercial, Medical, Marine and Industrial sectors. I basically involved in the ideation/conceptual phase, design, prototype and testing of the product. I also have project management experience and often work with startups. Software that I use are AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, SketchUp, ANSYS, SimScale, FreeCAD, Keyshot, Meshmixer and 3D builder. My curriculum vitae is available on request. Available for any questions. I have been placed in multiple positions of responsibility throughout my academic career. I have successfully served my term as Head Prefect in my high school, Al-Falaah college (a school that boasts the highest scoring matric results nationally in the year 2016). I have been a campus tutor for Mathematics, Thermodynamics and Physics and I have been allocated the highest budgeted masters research project in the history of UKZN's Aerospace Systems Research Group (ASReG). I am proficient in Solidworks CAD modelling, Simulation execution (FEA, CFD and topology optimization). My Masters has allowed me to efficiently mathematically model systems in Microsoft Excel, predict motion and analyse trends. I have presented graphical analysis of data to a wide variety of audiences both within and out of the engineering space. I turn client photos in to ornaments for commercial molding and casting. Over 8 years experience in the 3D field with skillsets for knowing what's printable, print settings, advanced hand finishing, etc. Reverse engineering services mainly for the US market. I contract to a commercial scan service to turn their scans in to Solid models /STEP files in Fusion.
