My name is Stacy Kirkner. I have over 12 years’ experience in AutoCAD 2d and 3D models. (I actually teach AutoCAD). I am highly educated, just completed another degree B.B.A. with a 4.0 GPA while working full time job. Also, have 2 A.A.S. in engineering. I have a photographic memory, so if you tell me something or show me something, I have it! I am passionate about product designs, problem-solving, and creating. Jeff Peterson has 20 yeas 3D CAD experience and he started his career working in a small machine shops and factories. He graduated up through the trades. Got his degree in Vocational Education in Machine Trades after a short career teaching High School he took a position in industry as a inspector in the quality control department of an automotive seat belt company. He was promoted into engineering where he was assigned to the drafting and modeling department. From there he was promoted into a new R&D department. He came up with many new ideas and 5 were patented. And being the designer he was responsible for the product including purchasing, incoming inspection, manufacturing, testing, quality control, shipping and finally field return analysis. He furthered his career by taking a position position with an automotive supplier as a designer of plastic parts, rubber hoses, ridged steel tubes, stamped metal, plastic injection molds for Ford, Chrysler, GM, Honda, Nissan, John Deere, Caterpillar, and Navistar. Versatile and creative project manager and product development engineer. My job is to take an idea that's been sketched on a napkin and develop it to the point where it can be put into production at a profit. I manage all aspects of projects, from estimates and budgets and schedules, to supervision of engineers and designers, to client relationships and vendor coordination. I pay attention to aesthetics, ergonomics, manufacturability, performance and cost. I thrive on technical and organizational challenges. Products that I've designed have been manufactured worldwide, from small batches through million-unit runs. A few highlights: - Deciphered and improved a revolutionary padlock design that was malfunctioning and wasn't ready for mass production. After meticulous refinement and adjustment, it was successfully put into production by my customer and sold widely in the USA. - Led a team of engineers to design a set of all-plastic injection molded shopping carts. In addition to being attractive and full of unique features, the carts are nearly indestructible. Watching one of them undergo a 1600 lb overload test will permanently banish the term "cheap plastic" from your vocabulary. The carts are currently being sold nationwide. - Engineered a unique conference room table that includes power and data hubs in retractable pods, a touch-screen control panel in a hidden pocket, light pipes and pivoting wing surfaces. I've been in manufacturing for 20+ years. I've been a machinist/CNC programmer 13 years and a design engineer for 9. I've been using AutoCAD since 2002. Pro/E (Creo) since 2007 and currently Autodesk Inventor. I've worked with many different sectors over the years (military, aerospace, mining, oil & gas, etc.). New product development, reverse engineering and simulation. I've taught AutoCAD online as well as in college classrooms. I'm active in my field and used to working with a diversity of clients.
